I used to scuba dive a lot and I can say that most wet suits are not really made for comfort. It's to keep us from freezing in the water. I have a pool and lately the water seems cold to me so I bought this wet suit. I am 5'2' and 170 pounds and bought the extra large. It's tight. However I did manage to stay in the water for 30 minutes so it worked as intended.

I purchased this 2 months ago. I wear it three times a week to play indoor water volleyball. The indoor pool is air conditioned and there is a draft that blows on the water volleyball players, thus the need for this jacket. As you can see, the chlorine fades it quickly. So far the chlorine hasn’t weakened the neoprene. This does stretch after wearing in the pool. I initially purchased a size large. I typically wear a size 12 in clothing. When I tried on the large it was super tight and hard to zip, so I returned it before wearing it in the pool. I reordered an XL which felt more comfortable. But after a few times wearing it I the pool, I noticed that it does stretch as other reviews had mentioned. The sleeves are quite tight and hard to get on or off over the hands. This does keep me warm in the pool and I would recommend the product for water volleyball. Update 5/29/23. I’ve had the jacket for 6 months and wear it three times per week, 1-1/2 hours each time. The chlorine has eaten away at the neoprene. I can pull off large pieces of the top layer. I finally had to throw it away as small pieces were coming off in the pool. Despite it lasting only 6 months, I did order another one as it kept me comfortable in the pool when the pool temperature dropped.

I got this wetsuit top to wear while I do my exercises in the cold, cold pool at the Y. I dreaded facing that cold water everyday, but needed to get in my exercises. I really like this wetsuit top. The first time I wore it, I felt an immediate difference in my comfort level. I could feel the cold at times in my arms, but it was only a lingering cold. Like I had talked through an extra cold spot in the water. I am not feeling that teeth chattering cold like I used to. The top fits snug , as it should. I really like the extra bit of rubber around the waist edge and sleeve edge that gives that extra seal against the water. It does ride up a little, but that isn't too much of a problem for me. The sleeves are a perfect length and it falls about mid hip on me. The zipper works smoothly and doesn't snag. Good price for a good quality wetsuit top.

My advice, don’t judge the fit until you’ve been in the water. When I first put it on, I almost returned it because it was so tight. I went into the reviews and saw you should order 2 sizes bigger (I just followed the sizing chart) But I did follow the advice to put a small-ish can in the sleeves to stretch out the wrist cuffs, which were super tight. That worked. Still concerned about the tightness in the chest. But it fit perfectly once I got in the water. It kept me warm, was easy to maneuver in and I actually didn’t notice I had it on. Gave it a 4 only because of the wrist cuffs.

Using for aquacise, indoor pool but breezy & chilly with fans going. Bought 2 sizes, a small and a medium. The medium was a bit loose and arms too long. The small arrived the next day and although a bit snug, the sleeves are a much better length for me. It does ride up in the water with certain moves but I just pull it down. Passed the medium around for others to get a feel for the fit and a friend took the medium and another friend will order a large. I am 5'2", 120 lbs, and am between 34D. Have worn several times a week from beginning of Feb. to mid May. Just wore again this week as we had a cold spell and I see that the jacket is delaminating (Neoprene is coming apart from nylon top layer fabric). It has also faded to a charcoal grey. Since this jacket is advertised as an aquacize product I am surprised at it's short lifespan. I have been very happy with how it keeps me warm but feel it should have a longer useful lifespan. Not happy! Sorry, wrong start date. Began using in Dec, not Feb. Still unacceptable lifespan. I rinse in cold water and hang indoors to dry. Never put in washer or use detergent. Pool is salt water/chlorine.

I'm 5'4" and wear a size 14, and the large fit me just fine (definitely women-cut; I'm using my husband's username hence the "Mr"). I'm a scuba diver and wear either a thin wetsuit or dive pants and surf shirt (fabric, like rash guard clothes). I only dive 2-3 times a day for a couple of weeks twice a year wearing this in warm Caribbean water, but I always wear something with good coverage because I hate unexpected stings. (And I glow in the dark I'm so pale, which is distracting.) This is not my first wetsuit, and I have another (size 11) I often wear that is thin, but I love having the top and pants separate with a front zip and zipping pockets. I can never have too many pockets. I feel like this top has pretty good control of water flow and I will unzip it or pull the neck to let in fresh cool water. It tolerates rinsing well, is comfortable, and my favorite wetsuit top of all that I have. I like it so much, I may see if they have a thicker one for cold water dives. Wet suits are so unflattering, but this one definitely helps. Fits great and looks good. I highly recommend for this type of use.
