Bought this to store my handgun and other valuables, just in case. Perfect size for what I needed it for. The safe feels pretty sturdy, so I don’t need to worry about someone easily opening it. I can also rest knowing that the finger scanner isn’t easily tricked, like my old cheap one. And if my husband needs to get in, he can just type in my passcode. We even tested to see if the siren would go off at the failed attempts. And, man, it is loud! If I forget to keep an eye on the battery life, I have the keys to open it in an emergency. The battery compartment is cheaply made and fall out of place with any movement. I plan to keep this on the top of my dresser, so it will move from time to time, slightly. The slightest movement makes this safe inoperable without a key, which in a life or death situation, who wants to fumble and find keys? I paid extra not to have to deal with keys. I bought the finger print option, for the fastest open option. It does not say in the description that you have to have a combination plus fingerprint to open, but that is how mines works and isn’t what I wanted. By just walking it up to the stairs to my bedroom, the digital aspect stopped working. Now I will have to go get the keys, take the door off and fix that batteries AGAIN. I hope the seller will resolve this issue in a timely manner as I needed it asap. I will edit my review when/if I get what I paid for. Amazon keeps getting more and more unreliable. ... show more

I am still trying to get the fingerprint to work but I only spent about 10 minutes before bed. I can tell you I am impressed with this little safe. It took me along time to figure out where to put the key in to open it and that alone makes this safe extra special!

I have had this safe for around 2 years now, and here’s my true thoughts on it. The size is enough for any average person to store their money, jewelry, documents, etc. It is very easy to set up, all you need to do is follow the instructions on the user manual which explains everything in detail. After that, you are good to go. It is very easy to open, it has a nice appearance, it is made of quality material, and it has great value for the money. I have been opening and closing this safe often in the time I’ve had it, and I only needed to change the battery once (The safe lets you know when the battery is low when light bar starts lighting up red instead of green when you open the safe). Only thing I have to say about this item is that the fingerprint feature requires you to be spot on, same position as when you set your fingerprint. I do not see that a bad thing though, more of a “security” feature. ... show more
