This is a beautiful chandelier! I’m very pleased with the look but I’m very disappointed with the problems ran into with the assembly. When attaching the light pole to the lamp base (step 3)the person hired found it couldn’t be done securely because the grooves in the light pole was stripped. So he improvised to get it attached and the bracket screws and the Phillips screws were too short so he had to replace them with other screws that would fit. So what should have been done in about an hour and a half at most ended up being a 3 hour job. To have him come back after I got the parts replaced would have been having to pay twice! I recently replaced the old, dated light fixture in my dining room with this modern farmhouse chandelier and it's made such a difference in the overall look and feel of the space. The hand-woven rattan shades add a nice natural texture and warmth; they also diffuse the light in a really pleasant way (no harsh glare or shadows). I was a bit concerned that the black color might be too heavy or imposing, but it actually works really well with my decor. It adds a nice contrast and visual interest without overwhelming the room. Assembly and installation took a bit of time and patience (I may have uttered a few choice words while trying to get all the wicker shades attached lol), but the end result was worth it. I've gotten a lot of compliments from guests on this chandelier. It's become a real focal point in my dining space. If you're looking for a stylish, eye-catching light fixture with a bit of boho flair, I'd definitely recommend this one. ... show more
