First, this is an excellent laptop bag for the price. Before I get to what I don't like, I'll just say that the value and quality of what you're getting here seem to exceed the price being asked around the $25 price point. Plenty of space, the external charging unit was so handy and worked fine, zippers work well and the bag is very sturdy. I found I had to fly somewhere with 1 day notice, so I was in a rush when buying this laptop bag. I saw that it basically folded in half, and I thought that was fine, but in real travel-type use where you have a bunch of stuff in your backpack, not just a laptop and a few other things, it's not ideal. It's too easy for everything (everything) in the back large storage area to just tumble out when opening it, trying to look for stuff. This is a feature, not a flaw. I just found that I don't like the feature after purchase. Also, I wish the padding for the laptop area was thicker. My only comparison is my laptop bag for work, which is a Wenger, and appears to be several times more expensive. That has very nice padding for the outside and inside. This laptop bag has much thinner padding, though padding still exists. I have no other point of reference for how a laptop bag is supposed to feel or look. Purchased this because it was water resistant. Ended up walking to work in a light shower. I mean a shower that will basically have the top of your clothes moderately wet, but won't have to soaked or drenched. Job is 15 minutes away. Get to work and my bookbag is wet enough on the top to where it is darker than the rest of it but when I opened it I was quite surprised. My laptop, tablet and other items were completely dry. Im not saying throw it in a lake and see what happens and walk in a thunderstorm to where the rain is practically falling sideways but It will hold in one of those conditions to where you just so happen to get caught in the rain. ... show more

I love this backpack, I bought it for travel but it also comes in handy for my workplace as well. Soo many pockets, I can pack my lunch throw extra scrubs inside and a hoody, with room to spare in the main compartment. I also love the charging unit , I can charge my phone without leaving my phone in a random office. My laptop fits nicely in the back slit as well. Best purchase. I needed a larger bag than the 15.6inch Matein bag I have had for a year now. I had recently bought a new gaming laptop for when I travel and the 15.6 inch bag supposedly would have fit it, and it did! But, it was a tight fit with the laptop in the laptop pouch, and with everything else I had to have in the bag it was a 50/50 split on if it would fit under seats. I was a little afraid it would be too big but it actually fits everything and more! I would like to rate this a 5/5 but I dislike the zipper design for the laptop/tablet pouch. Not sure why the bag has to open up like a clamshell, feels like that increases the risk for things falling out and/or if if you didn't zip it all the way and it opens up as you're carrying it the weight shift would be awkward. I needed a more square shaped travel backpack because my larger laptop didn't fit easily in my tear-drop shaped one. I especially like that it has a separate back compartment for the computer that can be opened flat so it is not necessary to remove the computer for security screening. I was concerned about having enough room for the travel essentials I don't want in a checked bag and found it had more room than I needed. There is one big compartment in the middle and a few small ones in the front that helped keep my things separate. I'm a home health nurse and I use this bag to carry a variety of necessities. Disclaimer: I did buy another laptop sleeve because I didn't feel the laptop compartment had enough padding and I don't want to have to treat my backpack like a delicate flower. However, I still give it 5 stars because of the innovative compartment design that allows me to carry a lot in one bag and keep things separated and organized while on the go.
