abunda_amazon_reviews This appeared to have a metal awning, but is fabric. The design is nice, but the welds are crap and one broke during assembly. The lights (which were the main reason we chose this shade) are two little battery operated LED things with magnets that don't even hold on well to the frame of the shade. Also, one of the rivets for the bottle opener was broken out of the box. I kept this up for not even a full season. On a windy day, the canopy tipped over and got caught up with another canopy (this was mostly my own fault and I should have better secured them or taken them down for the season). The canopy ripped, and the company does not seem to offer to purchase a replacement for this unit. Go with something else! I would spend a little more on something of better quality, and with a company that offers replacement canopies, in the case that yours wears out or rips. UPDATE: It seems that this company has two of the same product listed on Amazon. I found a replacement canopy showing the part-number that's listed under the OTHER product posting. I recently purchased the replacement, and will see how this holds up. I'm sticking with this one, as I don't want to drop another +-$120 on a different canopy.
