Godox V100: Small Body, Serious Power
Set name: V100 for Sony
The Godox V100 has become one of my go-to lights for event work. Having 100 watts of power in a speedlight-sized package is unreal. For concerts, parties, corporate events, and on-the-move portraits, this thing delivers consistent punch without ever slowing me down. The biggest advantage is the recycle time. Being able to fire rapid shots without waiting for the flash to refresh keeps me in the moment—no missed reactions, no awkward pauses, no worrying about the light keeping up. It truly lets you shoot all night with confidence. Ergonomically, it’s lightweight and easy to maneuver, whether I’m bouncing light, going off-camera, or running it on-camera for quick movement around a venue. Event shooters will appreciate just how efficient it makes the workflow. As for downsides, I’m not the biggest fan of the wheel—it feels a bit basic compared to how refined the rest of the unit is. And I’m still getting used to the touchscreen interface, but it’s responsive and becomes intuitive once you dial in your muscle memory. Overall, the Godox V100 gives you true 100W power, fast recycling, and all-night reliability in a compact form factor. If you shoot events or need a powerful, portable flash solution, this one is absolutely worth picking up.

Wow powerful for a flash!
Set name: V100 for Sony
So this thing is basically a GODOX AD 100 that mounts on your hotshoe. But it also has the ability to trigger other flashes as well. So if i forget my trigger and have this thing i can still trigger my other Godox flashes and strobes. I have used this as a bounce flash indoors and with the power it has i am able to step back much further. Have also used this in a soft box and has plenty of power for some of my portrait shoots. Outdoors I have used this as a fill flash and it does a pretty good job. Of course it is not going to give you the same results as an AD200 or AD600, but it is not bad. Also, with the round head, this thing pops right into the softboxes that i have with the AD 100 mount.

This is a GREAT on and off camera flash!

This is a GREAT on and off camera flash! I've of course used it indoors and have used it as a fill flash in full sun for a family portrait shoot. I've used it more than 6 hours on a session and the battery has went the full tome and still had gas in it.
