Originally bought 2 of these along with the xPro on camera controller, ended up buying 2 more for a total of 4! They work great with the controller and work just as well as Sony’s flash at a fraction of the cost. Few things to note: this is not a TTL flash, high speed sync only works when the flash is off camera and controller by a Godox master controller like the xPro, and finally there’s a red blinking light on the front of the flash to indicate when it is in radio slave mode that you can’t disable. I fixed the last little issue with a small piece of gaff tape over the blinking light. 10 out of 10, would buy again ... show more

10 years ago you would pay $100 for a manual flash that only has a few power settings, much lower output, no HSS, manual zoom (as in actually using you hands to slode the zoom) and no radio. Pair this with the radio controller and you have an unbelievably powerful tool. It even comes with a case....that holds the tabletop stand in a little pocket inside. They thought of everything. I have 3 of these and the pro remote and it's a full 3 light kit that fits in a suitcase with room to spare. If you are not wanting to spend a lot for lights (3 is enough to do most things) or you want to learn about lighting, you can't beat a 3 light, battery powered, radio kit with HSS for under $300. I wish this was around in 2006 so I could have saved the $1000 I spent on 2 mono lights that are now worthless. ... show more

I have dropped the speedlight like 3 times. Even has some scratches on it, but keeps working just fine, it is very durable. I don't know if its me or the conditions but I use it in exterior with HSS with the X1 pro trigger, and sometimes I dont see consistency on the flash power. Also sometimes the trigger and the speedlight loose conection, but I don't mind all of those things... specially from the price point! I Absolutely recomend it, and with the trigger (X1 or Pro) for: the TTL and the HSS capabilities.- ... show more

    • Godox customer service is hard to reach and no help once you do
My kids Bought me this 600 and the 685. Due to covid I only got to use them a few times before the screens started glitching. With this one the 685 screen looks staticky the 600 there is just an E on the screen. I emailed Godox a few months ago because it was still within the one year warranty. Customer service is not in the US so they told me to contact seller but it was too late for us to return it to amazon. Waste of money, I should have asked for the Sony brand flash ... show more

    • Unhappy with purchase. Flash won’t connect.
I purchased the Sony version of this flash to use during my Real Estate Photo shoots, but it won’t connect to my Godox XPro S trigger. The only thing I can think of is that I got a bad batch or something, because I have heard great things about this light. But, it’s very disappointing that I have not heard back from customer support yet, so whether I will be returning the flash for a new one or returning my purchase altogether is to be decided. ... show more

    • Doesn’t power on each time and quit syncing to its trigger after 1hr.
I heard great things regarding Godox items which is why I made the purchase. The TT600 for Sony didn’t want to power on with brand new batteries and required me to tap it multiple times before turning on. During my first shoot with it, it turned off twice and then refused to turn back on. It finally powered on hours later but would no longer sync to the X pro trigger that it was firing with before. Highly disappointed and will be returning shortly. I can’t utilize equipment that I can’t trust to work each time. ... show more

Needed a quality flash for wedding photography, my last one would take forever to load up the flash and wouldn’t be in sync with the camera so this one is perfect

    • Beware after 2 months E1 error!

I had it using it fairly well the past couple of months paired with a V860II. After the second month I got this error 'E1' and sometimes it works but mostly it doesn't. Either you have to repair it or buy a new one. Very disappointed by this malfunction.
