Good little motor, after I bled the fuel line it fired right up. I’ve used it on my wheel horse tractor, and it is plenty of power. Starts every time in 1-3 pulls and can pull a trailer full of wood (around 1000 lbs) The motor is also very fuel efficient. Update (8months) recoil snapped, but the motor still runs great.

I bought this to replace a motor in an old riding tractor for the kids. While the shaft size is different, approx 19mm, the motor fired right up after filling the crank case with oil and bleeding the injector system. The service post sale is also beyond excellent, mine arrived with damage to the throttle bracket and the service team quickly responded and worked with me on a resolution. I will absolutely buy another when I need another one!

I love the motor but I wish Parts where more available just to have on hand. Seems very reliable but I would like to know the specs for adjusting the valves and when to do it

Initially I was really happy with the engine. I understand how diesels work so I knew I had to prime injection pump before starting. I was shocked after priming it staryed on 2nd pull. It almost always starts on the 1st pull. I installed it on a 1958 Wheel Horse that I restored. Recently it's developed a significant oil leak. I believe it's coming from bottom of engine block but it's hard to determine since it's bolted to engine mount plate. I had multiple emails to seller on & get the run around. They keep wanting pics of oil leak. They offered no assistance or replacement. I've sent multiple pics. Taking tractor apart for further inspection risks scratches, damage, etc on a restoration that wasn't cheap. If I'm going to take that risk, & it looks like I have no choice as oil leak is getting worse, I'm just gonna install another engine.

Some damage in shipping. Substantial wait for replacement parts, but overall seller was easy to deal with. Engine started on second pull after 4-5 pulls with compression released to prime. Haven't done an extensive run yet but brief test run was successful. Warning that pagoda pulley in the picture (commonly available on Amazon) is 20mm bore 6mm key. Shaft is 20mm with 5mm key. It is very difficult to locate metric step keys. I ultimately made a step key from a brass 6mm key. If you have the patience it can be done with a small file.
