This is a easy to use and compact smart plug. I did have a little trouble getting it set up. The instructions are printed in a tiny font on a little strip of paper. I tried to connect the plug to my wi-fi 3 times and each time it said that it failed. So, I restarted my phone, and pulled the plug out and put it back in the outlet. When my phone was finished re-starting the Osaio app said the plug was connected. I used the skills function to connect it to my Alexa, and so far it works great. My house feels a little smarter. I hope this helps in your decision.

Would not connect to WiFi.

It took a while for me to get this product up and running, because I needed to go into my routers setup and add the 2.4ghz channel so that this could connect. I was just about to give up on this, when I realized it has to be on that frequency to work. After I setup my router I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it, connected to my 2.4ghz Wi-Fi and it setup after about 3 attempts. So far it’s going great, I’m using this as a timer to automatically brew my espresso in the morning. It’s nice that they have an app you can use to switch it on, off, and set schedules for it….I’m very happy with this product!

Like others, I had connection issues. The problem is: it WILL NOT work with WPA3. You have to change your wifi to use WPA2 for the plug to connect. Hopefully, this will help someone else. Other than that, it works pretty well. Was able to add it to the Smart Life app and connect it to Alexa.

My husband loves these smart plugs so we can have Alexa turn on and off things that aren't easily accessible. I appreciate them too but I'm glad that he likes to set things up and I am just the "end user." We haven't tried out the timer aspect as we are more interested in being able to control devices with voice commands. We have them all over the house now. "Alexa, turn on the cabinet light," or "bar light," etc.

I picked up this product to control a security light on the far end of the house. This tiny product worked like a charm. Within a couple minutes I had the device connected to my WiFi system and then incorporated into both Alexa and Google Home. I have this product set up to automatically turn on when I leave the house and on when I get home. The product also has it's own control app, but I have not explored the features. I had no issues with installation. I've had no trouble with disconnects or having to send it multiple commands. It is a simple, on/off plug control and does this one task perfectly. I strongly recommend this product, and the price is spot on.

I used my iPhone to set this up. If you have an android, it will work as well. It only takes a few minutes to setup and then turns off and on easily by voice or by using the app to do it. You do need to join it to your network/home modem as that is how it communicates.
