Style: Leg Press Machine

Features

  • This vertical leg press machine is made of 50 x 100 mm, 14 gauge high quality steel. Gross weight: 94 lbs. Weight capacity: 550lbs. User height: higher than 5.3''.
  • Cost & Space Saving Choice: The GMWD vertical leg press machine is an excellent space saving machine. It's great for those who want to do leg press but don't have much space at home. Assemble size: 43.5 x 32.5 x 62. 50% less footprint than the normal 45leg press machine. The full 1:1 ratio means that you don't need many weights, which is also a cost saving choice.
  • Ergonomic design: This leg machine has 3 positions backrest pad and head pad. Laying flat on the back pad, horizontally to the ground, your lower back, upper back, and neck, are almost completely left out of it. This can minimize lower back rounding and maintain your spine's natural curve. 5Tilted and enlarged footboard is ergonomic and can be more comfortable while you are exercising.
  • Liner Bearing Design: Unlike other brands nylon bushings or roller bearings, we updated liner bearings. "Linear bearing" means a higher cost for GMWD but a better feeling for you. You won't feel any clogged while you're exercising. Start your leg training more coherently and smoothly.
  • 3 start and end positions can meet the needs of people with different heights. Adjustable height range: 47.8'' to 62''. All your family members can enjoy the fun of leg strength training.
  • This leg press machine has 3 weight posts to help you add weights to your training. The detachable sleeves can fit both 1'' & 2'' plates.
  • Tilted and enlarged footboard is ergonomic and can be more comfortable while you are exercising. Leaflike texture for better slip resistance.

  • Nice addition to my Home Gym
This is a bit of a bear to put together, but then again I just used an adjustable and the enclosed wrench. So those with socket sets and power tools will find it easier. But this is proof that one 64 year old man can get it done in an afternoon. Instructions are decent (although there's a bit of a mistake on the Step 2 drawing) and a couple welds were so-so, but overall product seems sturdy and generally well built. It's not the one at your gym that you can load 1200 pounds on, but for multiple reps at 400-500 lbs I think this is a nice addition. I live in a warm climate and my gym is outside so I bought a cover for the bench. Otherwise it's good to go out of the box. Happy lifting. Update: Holding up nicely at 410 pounds. A little wobble at end of lift, but that's likely do to me favoring one leg/knee. Started my 13 year old at 185 and he finds it comfortable. Nice piece of equipment. ... show more

  • Great compact unit!
For fit, 5’10”, 200 lbs. Honestly, great value for what you get out of it. The foot plate is big and the pads are decent. It really doesn’t take up too much space. So far, I’ve had 365 loaded up and it is sturdy! That is, as long as you keep the weight somewhat even among the posts with and keep your movement controlled. If you are a shorter user, my wife who is 5’1” has been able to use it, but has to start from the bottom out position rather than any of the “safety pinned” placements. All in all, I recommend it if you are looking for a sturdy, inexpensive and compact unit! ... show more

  • Don't hesitate...just do it!
My husband and I absolutely Love this product. We are Seniors with the typical lumbar spine issues plus I have a scoliosis. Our backs are completely protected while we can work our legs very aggressively if we want. Which is so important to stave off sarcopenia. Keep your legs strong and live long! This machine has bearings which allow the sliding parts to move like a hot knife through butter. Absolutely no drag. No wasted effort. It has a small footprint and even though it is in a small room 8' x 10' in a small house (980'), it is not overwhelming. It fits nicely into the corner of our exercise room. I love the black and red color. It is sturdy and fully trustworthy. I have only one issue with it. I am short 5'1.5". I can use it, but I wish it would drop down more to get more range of motion for my legs. But...the blurb does say it is not for someone my height. I took a chance and I am glad I did. I can still get a really good workout. If you are thinking of buying something like this...don't hesitate on taking a chance with this one. My husband, who was a machinist before retiring is impressed by the quality. Also, he said the instructions were easy to understand and laid out in an efficient order. The package of hardware, (bolts, nuts and washers, etc.) was well packaged and everything was there that should be. Plus they give you a small bag of extras. I like that they packaged them separately and not with the necessary ones or you might get confused if you ended up with extras and wonder what you forgot. I am so pleased that I may go back and look at what else they offer. I am just an old lady who did her homework before purchasing and is happy with her purchase. ... show more

  • Made My Workout Enjoyable!
The media could not be loaded. Every year we try to add something to our downstairs gym area. This was the year of the leg press and man do I love it. It’s very, very well built and it works so well. It came in one box. Instead of trying to carry it downstairs, we opened it on the ground floor and took it down in its pieces. All the hardware such as screws, bolts, washers come shrink wrapped and labeled. You also get a couple of those inexpensive simple wrenches but I’d use a drill with a bit or one of those hand crank types to save your hands and time. All the parts were there but one washer. To be fair, we may have accidentally used two on one of the bolts/screws so that might explain it. We had a washer that worked so that was not a problem. It took two of us about an hour to put together. I had the video on my iPad that shows a great moving diagram, but we also followed the instructions that were in the box. There were times we needed both to be sure we had things going the correct way. Just a heads up on the instruction manual. The numbers in bold on the diagrams (of the instruction manual) are not telling you the actual bolt/screw or washer size. They are simply telling you which smaller diagrams (in boxes above) to go by. In that boxed diagram they tell you which sizes. That was just a tad confusing at first. Working out was FUN. You feel a bit like the blood is rushing to your head because you are actually tilted with your butt higher than your head, but it was fine for me. I am just so grateful to have a leg press that was affordable, sturdy, well made, and does the job well. There are pins that you use to change the height of the machine which will affect how deep your knees bend before you push again for the press. I found at my height of 5’4.5” that I didn’t need the pin at all so it’s at its lowest setting, and it was perfect for me. If I still wanted more of a bend, I could always put a padding of some kind on the bench to sort of raise me even closer. This is so well made and very safe to use. I had hesitated the first time I saw it but glad I got it! One of those great purchases with nothing but positives and no regrets. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! ... show more
