At this price, it’s hard to beat. It shipped via FedEx and arrived 4 days early. It arrived on leg day so I had to get it assembled so I could work out. The assembly from the time I cut the bands on the box until it was completely assembled was about 45 minutes. This included unwrapping and inspecting the parts for damage. There was a little damage to the powder coating on the main frame piece from shipping, but nothing structural. One piece of advice I would give is to not over tighten the nylon lock nuts. Too much torque will bend the square tubing, reducing the structural integrity. All in all it’s a good leg extension maching. I was torn between this and the one that lats flat for leg curls, but I can do standing leg curls with this one. Not a deal breaker, especially since I would need to spend an extra $100+ to get that functionality. I believe this one will work just fine and it is well made. I do see the leg pads needing changed out every year or so. The foam padding isn’t that dense so it will end up collapsing under heavy load eventually. For the max capacity, I will never personally need to go that high, but if you do, you won’t be able to use bumper plates. The weight arm is rather short. On a positive note, the handles are a vital feature for me. The leg extension machine I am replacing didn’t have them and it was difficult staying in the seat once you hit 130 pounds or so. So if you need a reliable, sturdy leg extension machine with leg curl features and hip thrust features, this fits the bill.

This machine has been a great addition to my home gym! Great quality, great price and very sturdy. It works very smoothly and has many adjustments to accommodate body size. At first when I opened the box I was overwhelmed by the amount of parts, but soon realized every part is labeled clearly with a number and the assembly steps are were easy to follow. I had an issue with one of the strings on the pads, but seller was quick to respond and had the manufacturer send me a replacement. I am very happy with this purchase!

So I did a lot of research looking for an all in one leg extension and curl machine. The reason I chose this one is because of the hundreds of great reviews and videos and now after owning it for a few months, I would mostly agree with what others say about this unit. Positives: it is pretty sturdy, has really fluid motion which I love, actually has quite a bit of adjustability, the ability to do seated leg curls instead of lying leg curls is huge, feels solid to the touch and looks great! Cons: small plate holder (I put two 45lb plates and ran out of room so if you lift heavy, just know you might have to do single leg extensions/curls), the lower leg pad doesnt rotate so as you extend or curl, it is locked to a single spot on your leg instead of being able to roll up and down slightly like at commercial gyms which means if your leg does slide, it rubs on your skin and rips up leg hair and skin...also, I am 6' and I barely fit so anyone 6'2" or taller might have issues with hitting their feet on the ground at some point in the movement. If they had put a longer plate holder, had a rolling leg piece and raised the height of the machine a few inches, this would be an easy 5/5. For me, these dont bother me a ton and for the price I would give it a 5/5 FOR ME but I think in general, it gets a 4/5.

GMWD has to be one of the best garage equipment I have bought. smooth movements and actually holds a good amount of weight to get those legs burning. Although 2 gripes, 1. the pads once you get over 150 it feels like the pad is nonexistent, so just wrap a towel around it for somewhat comfortable, maybe instead of rounds they should change to half pad connecting by a bolt or 2. 2. is the adjusting plate no numbers to help with remembering the best position, easy fix tho white out mark the position without too much damage. As far as that very good piece of equipment excellent for not being commercial, believe it will last since just a couple us using it. Another thing not really bad tho, single legs lifts feels like your bending the leg piece when using the right leg, whether or not just feels like it. Besides that, great piece of equipment. Would really love to get my hands on the V2 or the V7 chest press machines what a beautiful looking and functional piece of equipment like all GMWD equipment. Stuff is still pricey but not complaining.
