I bought this to connect to my TV and be able to play media from an external hard drive and it has exceeded my expectations in just about every way. It is very small. Probably about the same volume as my Roku ultra though this is more of a cube instead of a flat rectangular prism. But this can do so much more. I have an external blu ray drive and can play and rip movies right from my TV. On top of that I can search the web and play or download free movies and shows from various places like archive.org. I got a controller for it with a keyboard and touchpad from reiie that is perfect and can do everything a keyboard and mouse can do in a single small handheld unit. I've only had this a few weeks and I'm no tech wizard so I really don't know what all this is even capable of but so far it has done everything I want it to do and more. And the price is really unbelievable. But being able to connect this to a TV and have the ability of playback from anywhere on the web without having to mess with screen casting or transferring files is a game changer. Not being limited to a streaming devices apps makes for a much wider availability of content. And it's perfect for those who want to digitize their physical library and be able to store and view it in one place that can be easily connected to a TV. (Though it will take forever just a heads up) The performance seems to be quite impressive as well. At times it lags but I've been putting it through some hefty downloads and there are other variables at play when it comes to that like the many other devices connected to and using the network. For my intended use this is absolutely perfect. And I like that I have so much more capability with this than something like a Roku or other streaming devices. If I want to I can even get Microsoft office and connect a printer or run other programs for things like video editing or anything you can do with a PC. The specs are pretty impressive for the price and size of it and additionally it can be connected to a standard monitor and used as a PC. This computer has revolutionized my ability to watch shows and movies without paying a monthly streaming fee that leaves you with nothing to keep. Of course you can run any of the streaming services from this as well if you'd like but having the ability to download files from the internet makes a big difference. Especially since most services won't allow you to download movies and shows even though you've purchased them. You can only view them using their app and an internet connection is required. Realizing this I decided physical copies are far superior and I'd rather have files I can view at any time than the license to view a show or movie using a specific streaming service. Granted most of them allow you to download things you've purchased to view without an internet connection but it still requires the app so there are limitations. In my opinion if I've bought something I should be able to download and transfer it to my other devices without having to use third party services that track your activity and use it to market things to you. With this I can. I couldn't ask for much more from this and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone who enjoys accessing tons of free content on the internet that isn't available with most devices that can be connected to a TV with an HDMI cable.

Connected to a single 32" 1080 monitor, using for Office 365 work account at home, does the job. Works surprisingly well considering the cost and size. I have been using for 6 months now with no issues. Don't expect this to replace a modern desktop pc with a dedicated video card though. I gave this 5 stars based on cost / performance ratio and the fact that Windows 11 is pre-installed. You really can't go wrong if your expectations are realistic.

Gotta understand started out with 8088 progressing to 8086 and forward until retired a few years ago. Not a gaming or heavy productivity box but does more than enough for basic tasks.

I have had this computer running since the day of purchase. Easy setup. Used mainly for web browsing, reading email, and working with Word and Excel. Very pleased with how it operates. It works better and faster than my desktop. Had no issues. I use it with Innoview portable monitor 15.6 inch - outstanding. Easy setup economical price or connect Ingnok portable monitor ultra slim . Definitely a buy recommendation, you will not be disappointed.

Like virtually all of the reviews, this one is positive about the G5. I had a desktop for several years, which I used for work and personal activity. Two years ago it gave out and I needed a computer for work right away, so I bought a laptop. I never liked it, but it got the job done. I saw several videos on YouTube about the G5 and, when it had the reduced price for black Friday, I bought the version with 12mb ram and 512gb SSD. Set up was quick and easy - the longest part was downloading the aps I use. I was surprised at how well it worked; based on its size I expected a lower level of performance, but it held its own against the laptop. I use it for work with Microsoft Office, surfing the web with FireFox, and playing an MMO called Guild Wars II. It does all of this well - I haven't noticed any drop in performance from the laptop I was using. I would recommend this computer to anyone who wanted an inexpensive capable computer solution. I received an email (through Amazon) from GMKtec reminding me of their warranty and tech support. Although I haven't needed it, it's good to know support is there.

This PC has exceeded all expectations. I have had it for two days. I can do all the usual tasks that I normally do on my Dell XPS desktop, like email, Zoom and Teams meetings, docs and sheets, with no observable difference in performance. I have not tried (nor will I) my firmware development IDEs or virtual machines, because I doubt the 12G RAM would support those easily. But all in all a great PC. Oh, and it fits in my pocket and cost $160! However, I do not write reviews. I had to write this one not because the computer is such a stellar value, which it is, but because I have never had such an amazing experience with customer support. When I first got the PC I had an issue activating Windows 11. I went back and forth with the customer service rep about four cycles in that first 24 hours. No matter what the hour of the day, the response to my email showed up within 15 minutes, was polite, personable, and had the exact right next step, until the issue was handled. This is just a great product from a great company.
