The look is stylish, the size is just right, and the function is amazing. It has high/low power modes, a number of timer options, and a wide range of temperature settings. It heats up instantly, while the fan is very quiet at the same time. Not to mention the beautiful flame effects with 9 different colors and 5 different levels of brightness. Theres 2 reasons this is only a 4. 1) You can only set the timer and change the color with the remote. 2) The beep that occurs when every you hit any button is ridiculously and unnecessarily loud. I will be disconnecting the speaker or something soon because its so loud. Other than that the unit is great, to be fair i havent used the heat much as its summer here but thats not really the main reason i bought it anyway. The colors are cool, the features all work as you would expect, the flame looks "real" or at least good enough. Make sure you find both bags of crystals in the box as i found the 2nd bag while breaking down the box to recycle it. Looks way better with both bags of crystals in there. Anyway, would recommend. Measurements (i got the 40") listed in the pictures were accurate, which was good since i build the pictured console before the fireplace arrived. Install is super easy. Edit: so the speaker is hard soldered to the circuit board, it's a small black cylinder with a hole in it. Heres what I did to get the beep to be about 10% of what it was. Lay the unit on the glass front side. Remove the screws of the back panel. The center of the panel is mildly adhered with a piece of double sideed foam tape so just slowly peel the panel off. Once open the speaker is in what would be the top right corner of the unit. I cut a small piece of the foam tape off and jammed pieces of it into the speaker hole with a toothpick and then put one piece of tape over the hole. This took 90% of the beep volume away. Super glue into the hole would work too, I just didn't have any. Good luck!

The media could not be loaded. We have a sun room full of windows, always feels chilly in Wisconsin winter. The GMHome 50" wall recessed fireplace is a perfect solution. It brings instance warm to the room and is a beautiful decoration. Switch between diamond reflections and pick up one to match the weather, it creates an amazing fairyland for kids and the family. We can enjoy sun room more even in -30F Wisconsin winter from this year.

This 70 inch linear fireplace is so sleek and gorgeous. I receive so many compliments. I use this fireplace daily and I live in Florida. During the colder months I appreciate the heating element. This beautiful fireplace brings me so much joy and happiness. I purchased this almost four years ago in 2019 and it works perfectly in 2022. I am doing a new review because I recently contacted customer service via Amazon to request a new remote control. Grace responded immediately and in about two days I had a new remote control. I am so impressed. I love this fireplace, I love this company and I love the kindness in Grace’s heart. She is a beautiful person. I highly recommend all of the above…

It seems that we originally received one of the few "fireplaces" that was defective. It was an unfortunate situation, for sure. What is AMAZING is that this company, which is based in China responded to our "issue" (and I am a guy that HATES complaining...but I had too) like they were located in my town. "Grace" took the issue as "urgent." She took action immediately to remedy our situation. We had a contractor build the most beautiful mantle, custom for this fireplace box. Even with the initial challenge, we HAD TO BUY this same fireplace, again. As impressed as we were with the Fireplace (when we were shopping/comparing), we are MORE impressed with this COMPANY and GRACE at the way they stand behind their product. Yes, we all know that sometimes things do not always work out as planned, however to see this company, from so far away, rally to make this situation GOLDEN is impressive. YES! - BUY - BUY - BUY from this amazing place - WE LOVE LOVE LOVE our FIREPLACE....the stockings have already been hung for Santa......Thank you GRACE. We all can learn so much from the way you manage your business.

The media could not be loaded. This fireplace was the perfect solution to my condo renovation. Living in a high rise building, I am not able to install anything with a real flame so this unit provided the natural fire look I was wanting. I was able to install this in a standard wall depth and furred out a wood finish to achieve a flush look. Update 1 year after installation: fireplace is defective and turns on and off by itself. We have removed remote batteries and tried various power sources to confirm it has faulty internal wiring. I’m so disappointed that I spent time and money to frame it into a wall and am now too afraid to use it. Waking up at 3am to a fireplace turning on by itself is a great reason to not buy this product.

After an extensive research we had nailed don on GMHome fireplace for our media room in the basement. When the product arrived we noticed that there was a slight damage in the front. We called the GMHome customer service and explained the problem. We were put in touch with Grace from the customer service department who was very courteous and carefully understood the situation and indicated we send a picture of the damage to assess whether the GMHome technical specialists could repair the issue. With a quick response, she immediately came back saying they will process and ship a replacement unit asap. This was extremely helpful as we were on a very tight schedule. The fireplace arrived on time and intact and we were able to install it without any issues. It looks great, works great and I'm a very satisfied customer. Excellent customer service and follow-up and product. Thanks again Grace and GMHome.
