Like new was a challenge. I ordered one that was in the original box but was damage. When I received the item. The plug was broken. So I returned and they sent me a replacement. A low a behold this plug was broken on this one. So I decided I would try one last time. The third time was the charm. It was in perfect condition and almost half the price.     • Be careful of the rusty nut -- it could strip on you
Works great on my Acadia! I am not giving 5 stars, because the item arrived with no hardware -- you need to use your old rusty bits to reassemble. The old nut which holds the power wire in place, is not a perfect match for the threads on the new alternator. When I reinstalled it, the nut "felt" tight to me, but did not properly seat, causing intermittent charging. After troubleshooting, I finally got it fully tight. This caused a lot of frustration, and I almost returned the unit before discovering the issue. Fifteen cents of fresh hardware would have saved me a lot of trouble.... ... show more

Fit perfect but a pain in the butt to install. But product otherwise was great . On the traverse I installed it in really needed 2 people. 2 hour install time
