This is the front thermostat in the trucks thermostat housing 185 deg. Like other reviews have said it's a little tricky to replace but with about 1 1/2 hours and a little care it can be done by the average mechanical person. As in other reviews I considered removing the air conditioner compressor for better access but in the end only removed one bolt. It took a little time to get the air out of the system, unlike other reviews I didn't fine a bleeder screw on top of the housing. Because my truck is mostly run in warmer temperatures I was unaware I had a problem until I got a code for lower than expected engine temps. Now that I look at the engine temp I do see to come to temp quicker and run's right at the normal temp. ... show more
