The PCIe 4.0 riser cable works perfectly in my setup. I used it with my case’s built-in vertical GPU mount (ASUS TUF Gaming GT501 White Edition), and I’ve had no signal issues even with a 3090. Speeds are consistent, and the anti-static packaging was a nice touch. I couldn’t use the included bracket since my case doesn’t allow for removing horizontal slot brackets, so definitely check your case layout before buying if you plan to use the full frame. For me, the riser cable not being pre installed was a big win.

Unfortunately, this just didn't work for me. It requires an open 7-8 PCI slot case to really work. You can make it work with a non open area if you are willing to snip off the separators in between. I was about to do this with mine, but I decided to try fitting my GPU on it first, and that's where I found the issue. I have a 4060 GPU and it would not fit in this bracket. The brackets were too tall and my GPU sat a few millimeters too high to seat properly in the riser card. It fits fine in my case normally, so I'm not sure why it did not fit on this bracket. I tried raising the card a bit off the base of the bracket, which seemed to work, but this point the whole thing just felt to janky to go through with the install. I do give it points having a good riser card and cable, and I was able to test these independently and confirm they work. Maybe my card is an oddity and it works fine with other cards, but my card has not fit issues in a standard case so I'm not sure why it didn't fit with this one.

I installed the GLOTRENDS Vertical GPU Holder Bracket in my PC case, and while it looks fantastic and transforms the aesthetic of my build, there's a significant issue with electromagnetic interference. The vertical mounting position shows off my GPU beautifully through the side panel, but the poor shielding on the PCIe 4.0 riser cable causes my speakers to buzz noticeably when the system is running. The bracket itself feels solid and fits well in cases with 7 open PCIe slots, but the interference problem really detracts from the overall experience. It's frustrating because the visual upgrade is exactly what I wanted, but the audio buzzing makes it impractical for daily use. Pros: • Excellent visual appeal that transforms PC aesthetics by showcasing the GPU vertically through side panel windows • Solid construction and proper fit for cases with 7 open PCIe slots, providing stable GPU mounting • PCIe 4.0 riser cable maintains full bandwidth compatibility for modern high-performance graphics cards Cons: • Poor electromagnetic shielding causes speaker buzzing and audio interference, significantly impacting system usability • Installation complexity may be challenging for novice builders compared to traditional horizontal GPU mounting • Vertical orientation may affect GPU cooling performance depending on case airflow design and fan configuration

Had to test this with my second pc but it rid work great. The bracket screws in without any issues and it doesnt seem to be causing any performance issues, though I do have a 4090 hooked up to a 1440p monitor, so im not exactly GPU bottlenecked. Only annoyance is it does add a few mm to the length of the GPU so it wouldn't fit in my main pc. Definitely double check the clearance before getting this. When my strix 4090 is in my fractal north case there is literally less than a millimeter of clearance between the gpu and the case

I was really excited to use this adapter. It is super simple to setup and use. I unfortunately couldnt get it onto the case I decided to use so I will have to save it for another time but it does make having a vertical GPU a simple and easy setup. Overall its made well the cable looks and feels strong. Overall I am happy with it but am disappointed that it wouldnt easily fit just any case.

This is pretty much the complete package. Comes with what you need to vertically mount your GPU. It recognized my RTX 5070 with no problems. It also wasn't difficult figuring out how to install this mount. Keep in mind to use this with a PC case that has an open slot design for the PCIe brackets.
