I should have read the reviews. Based on the photos of the product (and the fact that this was one of the results when I searched for "2 prong to 3 prong power bar"), I expected to receive a 2 prong plug with a 3 prong outlet bar. It's amazing how a simple power strip can be so badly designed. The photo just shows first major problem, the weird-shaped plug makes the cable stick out to the left when plugged in, and when you want to run the cable to the right it gets ugly and inconvenient. And believe me this screwed up plug just doesn't fit anywhere. The second problem - the cable is SO stiff, if you want to fit it in some narrow place, you'll have great fun, especially combined with the weird plug. Last problem, ITS 2018, some suckers still don't put A SWITCH on a power strip??? What were they thinking??? Do I have to unplug it every night before sleep? Yeah it's kind of my problem that I didn't notice this before buying, but this problem is just too dumb. I'm returning this piece of junk. ... show more

Loved it until it stopped charging my Apple products. Love the cute color and the fabric cord perfect...until it stopped being supported by my iPad and iPhone...this happens to me all the time works great and a few weeks or months it varies it will no longer charge my Apple stuff. Almost worth it but just a bit too pricy to stop working in this short amount of time ... show more

I bought several of these for around my house last year and really liked the elegance of the design, given that the vast majority of power strips on the market are super utilitarian. I just went to buy more of these and see that they slapped their logo right onto the top of it now. I know most people wouldn't care, but given that the primary differentiator of this product by far was its elegant design, it really ruined that differentiator with the change.     • Flat cord is the ticket!

This product has a high quality cord but it is flatter than most and therefore worked perfectly for my needs, namely: to situate my wide screen TV inside a shuttered closet. I can get the light-weight shutters closed with minimal impact on the cord. The USB charging ports are useful since I am in constant competition for charging locations at my house (we own plenty of devices). I am giving this product 4 stars rather than 5 for one reason: the 3 power outlets provided are very close together and two of my TV-related devices have oversized plugs, namely my Roku and my sound bar. I had to use extenders to make the configuration work. This power bar is primarily designed for mobile devices with small power plugs.     • Perfect for the kitchen

I recently got an Amazon Echo during a sale and was having fun with it. Only one problem: I was already using the outlets in the part of the kitchen it made sense to keep my Echo. Thus, time for a power strip. I spent some time researching power strips trying to find the right one for my requirements. These were: 1. 6ft cord so I could plug it near the floor but keep it on the kitchen counter. 2. Flat plug so I could still use the other socket on the outlet. 3. At least 3 sockets for my speaker, clock, and Echo. 4. With surge protector, because it's in the kitchen. 5. Pretty, because it's in the kitchen. I found a few that kind of fit these requirements, and finally landed on this one. It also has the 2 USB sockets which I thought might be useful. Ended up that the sockets are too close together to fit everything, so I could only use 2 of them. Darn big plug things. However, also turned out I can plug my Echo in to the USB socket, soooo it worked out. One of the others I was seriously considering was a swivel/pivot plug, so the sockets are separated and moveable, and that might have been better but they do take up more space. ... show more

Disclaimer: I was compensated to write this review. With that said, I will do my best to be objective and write an honest review. This small power strip is well designed and should fit into most tight spaces. The plug at the end of the cord is medium sized and the cord is attached at an angle which means it should not block another outlet immediately below it as many older power strip cords do. The cord itself is fiber-wrapped, not plastic or rubber coated. It is somewhat flattened in appearance which could be a benefit in some mounting situations. Personally, I'm not sure how well the fabric weave will hold up against wear and tear or dirt (from being on the floor) as compared to a more traditional power cord. Only time will tell. These are excellent! They are super convenient for keeping behind furniture. You can use them behind your cough or behind your night stand. I really like the there is just 3 plugs and 2 USB ports. It gives you just enough options for everything you need! It would be nice if it had a power switch but how often do you use that anyway? I think this product is perfect for the purpose it serves. I appreciate the quality of the cable. It feels strong and very durable. The way it plugs in the wall allows you to tuck your furniture right against the wall without have to worry about the wire being bent. This is a great product and you should be extra just in case!
