The Glendon Electric Fireplace and entertainment center offers supplemental heat for up to 400 square feet and can be operated with or without heat for year-round enjoyment. This Muskoka Fireplace features a traditional style Media Console in a rich espresso finish, a 25-inch curved front electric insert, and multi-functional remote. Included with the MTVSC2513SE is a manufacturer's one year warranty. The unique curved firebox features a panoramic view of the life-like flame effects and glowing log set/ember bed. You'll enjoy watching the dancing flames flicker from the logs for a true-to- life wood burning fire experience. The integrated powerful, fan-forced space heater provides ample warmth for up to 400 Sq. Ft. so you'll never have another chilly evening in front of the television. For added convenience you can choose from two heat settings and flame effect brightness levels from anywhere in the room, using the included multi-function remote control. Included with the MTVSC2513SBP is a manufacturer's one year warranty.

I Love this combo TV stand and faux fireplace. As a piece of furniture it is very beautiful, nicely made. Took less than an hour to assemble and I'm a woman. Some pieces were substantial in weight, but not over my limit. My husband helped install the firebox. From a distance it looks like the real thing. Of course up close one can tell it isn't, but it is up there with the more realistic looking ones. I like it a lot, but didn't get it in time to use it for heat, so far just for cozy comfort setting. This winter we will put it to the test to see if it will warm the room too. I still like it's character. Very nice piece. Would recommend it to anyone wanting a bit of personality added to their room decor. ... show more

This is a nice piece if you don't move it... IF you do move it, lift it from the bottom... It's not very sturdy. Found out the hard way it's made of veneered paper particle board. The screws tore pieces out of their anchor bases when I lifted it. Took it back apart and used wood glue on every joint to re-assemble it. The lighting options are nice, but the motor that rotates the flame device to create the fire effect squeaks and grinds... so it makes something that is supposed to be romantic... CHEEZY... and cheap, despite the price for the piece... I was disappointed... ... show more

    • Poorly constructed..
Liked most the appearance. Liked least poorly constructed. When tightening the screw like twists, they broke and some actually pulled out some wood. I had to adapt pieces of wood to hold the shelves to the sides. The back panel is the only thing that gives the unit support. You can not lift the unit. If you did the shelves come unconnected. Very pretty unit, but built like crap. ... show more

This fireplace is way gorgeous. It’s made well and was super easy to assemble. My only gripe is that the flames aren’t very realistic. But the rest of it is absolutely wonderful.

This is so beautiful! Received it yesterday afternoon and assembled it by myself. I am so pleased with my choice. This was the one I've been searching for. This cannot be lifted. The screws and hardware for assembly will not support being lifted, so if I ever have to move, I'll have to come up with a method for tying it together with cables to be transported as a unit. But while it's sitting in the living room I have now, I am totally enthralled by its beauty and the atmosphere it gives my home. ... show more

It looks great. But now that it's cold and I've turned the heater on, it is not a good heater. The heat comes out of a vent that is 7" long and 2" wide. It really should have a bigger vent. If I had known, I would have researched that aspect of the fireplace further.
