It's amazing how many headsets I had to go through until I finally found this one! I've purchased and tried probably over 30 headsets! no joke! What's the fun when you make a call and people can't hear you? When you start hearing: "what?", "can you repeat that again"... how is it possible to hold a conversation this way? It isn't. That's the trigger of: "this is not 'the one', next". For a long time, I had "my favorite one". Nothing could beat it, nothing! The reason I kept searching was: 1. It was Bluetooth 4.0 2. It had Mini-USB charging: which I am not a fan (now that we have USB-C) 3. Battery life was good, but is there better? 4. Charging was slow compared to newer models. 5. I didn't like it that turning it on I had to long press on my ear for 3-4 seconds. But no matter how hard I tried to find a replacement: nothing worked. That's until I found this! I waited for a while, but after 2 weeks plus, I think I'm ready to review it. The biggest plus to this earpiece is that people on the other side can clearly hear you! I can't stress this enough! Here's what my "research" found: After purchasing, Google buds, Samsung, Bose and all the expensive "good ones" => the technology simply is not there yet. You need the "rod" sticking out to your mouth if you want to be heard. Point. No way around it. Sure, if you're in a quiet environment, and you're at home: they work! But try making calls from the car, or on the street => you will not be heard, no matter the name or brand. So now the pluses I found with this set, which has become my favorite. 1. I can be clearly heard on calls when driving (or walking on the street/walking outside). 2. USB-C: no more searching for the direction when trying to charge! 3. Battery life: really good compared to other models. 4. Charging speed: perfect! my old one took about 1.5 hours, while this one much less. 5. Turn on/off using a switch! This is huge for me, since I really didn't like the "long press" to turn others on. 6. The quality of sound is good. It's not Bose, but I'm not listening to music with it anyway, and for conversations and audiobooks that I do => works perfectly. 7. Small enough for me to carry it in my pocket (I don't use any containers). Okay, so all is good? Not quite, but can be fixed. The minus with all of these types of headsets/earpieces are that they don't sit well in your ear. I don't get it. But there is hope! So for years now I've dealt with this problem, and here's what I do: I purchase: "Replacement Eartip Hooks for JBL Earbuds". There are a couple of sellers for this product. Once you do that => it sits very well in our ear! I even use superglue so that it doesn't fall off :) I've attached a photo to show how this looks like (I wish they made/sold them like this!). ... show more

This headset does work well. It is easy to pair. The sound is ok. It is loud enough to hear over truck engines. It also has incredible range. I can walk away from my phone and stay connected 100 - 300 feet. The battery will last for 2 days. But this ear piece is large. It doesn't sit well on my ear. I move around a lot and I constantly have to readjust it. And because of it's size, it looks weird hanging on your ear. ... show more
