This black kitchen pantry cabinet offers a nice aesthetic, but its build quality is flimsy. While it looks good, it is not very sturdy; the drawers wiggle and feel like they could fold easily just by opening them, and the simulated wooden finish is unconvincing. With care, however, it can function for storage. Assembly is lengthy, taking several hours due to the sheer number of pieces and hardware. Although the instructions are fairly clear, putting the cabinet together is a demanding process. Be aware that you will need two people, especially for aligning and securing the heavy top half onto the base. It isn’t very tall which might be suitable for smaller places. ... show more

Assembly Takes A While And Needs 2 People - There are a lot of pieces in terms of the furniture and screws. It takes at least a few hours to put together, so I would set aside a long afternoon to put it together. It comes with a manual screwdriver, but I also used an electric screwdriver to speed things up. I put it altogether myself, though there is one part where it takes two people. Basically the part where you put the top half onto the bottom half, it takes 2 people since you need to lift the top half and align 8 screws onto the bottom 8 holes accurately. I also used a second person to move it to the final location more efficiently. Assembly is not too confusing - The instructions are somewhat clear and accurate, and I had no issues following along or missing pieces. There were actually some extra pieces. Assembly Issues - There were 2 issues I had. One, the screws sometimes had shallow screw grooves, this meant sometimes when using my electric screwdriver, it started to strip the screws. This happened sometimes even when I switched to the manual screwdriver, so I had to be more careful and dig in more. Secondly, one of my bottom doors was positioned too close to the shelf. I don't know if it was because of my assembly, or if it was just designed off. Therefore, when opening and closing it, the path wasn't clear, it scraps against the shelf and makes it so opening and closing is inefficient and kind of has a stuttering open and close, this also created a groove into my door as the shelf keeps rubbing against it. Good Stability - The cabinet feels stable and I can put decently heavy kitchen items on it reliably without feeling it will collapse or fall over. Okay Aesthetics - It has a nice design shape and color. However, there is just some small innate damage to the panels, so sometimes there will be peeling in the corner, a screw bulging, or some other small superficial damage. Unlike other furniture I have gotten, there are no stickers to cover the naked screw tops, so that reduces the aesthetics. It would be nice if the cabinet came with those stickers to cover the screw heads. Overall a good kitchen cabinet to hold various kitchen items and foodstuffs. Assembly took approximately 4–6 hours, so plan accordingly. All parts and hardware were included, and nothing was missing. Instructions were usable, though the build is detailed and requires patience. Once assembled, the cabinet feels sturdy and functions well as a pantry, coffee bar, or microwave station.
