For the cabinet itself, it seems quite durable for the price and not very difficult to put together. It did take about 5 hours in total, mostly by myself; an hour of that just to organizing all the wood to make sure all the pieces came in (only one board wasn't labeled, so I'll call that a win). Measurements and photos are also accurate on Amazon. Beware for delivery if you're not in a house or first floor apartment: the FedEx delivery driver left this extremely heavy box on the ground floor of my apartment and I had to get help to move it upstairs. I know this isn't the product's fault, but the seller ought to go through a different service. I've already given FedEx an earful. ... show more

    • Roomy and tall kitchen pantry adds storage space and coffee and tea bar
This was ordered for a kitchen that didn't have a pantry to add room for pots, pans and other kitchen items, but we found out it makes a great coffee center. We used this tall pantry cabinet to create a small coffee and tea and breakfast prep and storage area in our kitchen. The panels have a matte black finish. The doors use simple metal hinges that open without sticking. While assembling it, I noticed the pieces lined up cleanly and the interior shelves slid into their slots without forcing. I did need help assembling, it's a big project, so set aside time for assembly! In daily use, the countertop section has been sturdy enough for a coffee maker, and the upper doors stayed aligned after a week of opening and closing. The height works well in a tighter corner and gives a clear spot for morning prep. I love the amount of storage, though the back panel feels a bit thin compared to the rest of the unit (like most big box store pieces.) The stable frame and useful layout support a positive overall impression even with that lighter backing. Works for the kitchen.     • Tons of storage in a small space
I was pleasantly surprised by how much storage space is in this hutch cabinet. The bottom area has a large drawer, a cabinet with 2 shelves, and a cabinet with 3 shelves as well as 3 more shelves with rails in the door. There are also 2 open shelves between the 2 bottom cabinets. This cabinet has a nice countertop that will easily hold a coffee maker and all the condiments. The hutch above has 2 doors that each open to reveal 2 shelves, and also have 2 open shelves between them. The whole thing is made from engineered wood and is very strong and sturdy. The surfaces are very smooth, and water resistant. This is a very well designed and made piece of furniture that could easily be used in other areas of the house besides a kitchen or dining room. The only negative I have for this piece of furniture is that it took a while to assemble it because of all the components. Hubby did talk ugly a few times, but he always does that when assembling flat pack furniture. This storage hutch cabinet is worth it though, because when you are done assembling it, you have a nice piece that is very useful. ... show more
