Love this bed! It's a pain to assemble but once you see your new bed made you'll be so happy with the purchase! Particularly love the smooth gliding drawers even on carpet! I wanted a bed with built in storage at the sides not the foot in case we put a bench there. The FedEx delivery man help me get the box into the house and I broke it down into pieces and loaded it into the back of my Bronco and took it to my vacation home. I'm a 66-year-old woman and this was very easy for me to put together. I didn't have any problems at all. All the pieces fit together the first time and there were a few extra pieces for just about everything. I was going to put a box spring on but definitely did not need it. With ordering a whole bed online, it can be hard to judge the quality of furniture. I am pleasantly surprised with this piece! It's affordable and sturdy! The wooden slats that support you don't really creak and the bed doesn't shift on you at all. As you can see in the picture- I have cats. As such, they like to climb on/ scratch at this bed a bit. It's been a month now and I haven't seen any snagging!! Storage space is amazing and saves my closet from all my sweaters. Definitely would recommend I WILL SAY THO the drawers don't love to line up properly without finagling if you have carpet and the wire style drawers are not my favorite ... show more
