Let me tell you the actual assembly of this thing.... Woof. It was a pain in the butt and a half, but once I got it it was amazing. Every single piece is sturdy and well crafted, which did lend a bit of frustration with assembling as they were a tight fit. But it's perfectly sturdy and doesn't wobble or shift around, even on my uneven floors, and the chairs are surprisingly comfortable for bar stool style! The backs are a little short, but that's perfectly fine with me, and I love the extra storage! This took me about... an hour and fifteen with just hand tools, and all the pieces were clearly marked and labeled and even came with some extras so I'm happy! ... show more

I knew this was going to have bar stools so I'm not going to complain about my legs hurting sitting on it because that is clearly what you are going to get (by the way my legs don't hurt just see others complain). I think for a bar stools they are just fine and comfy enough for dinner, think like eating at a cafe. The table and chairs took me alone just under three hours to put together so put on your favorite music and just get to it. There were some difficult bars in the chairs that I had to hold in with my thumb tight to get the screws in but man ....when I was done i was seriously surprised with how sturdy these chairs are. The table is finally something I can fit in my small kitchen without blocking a cupboard and it's cute to boot. My house is over 100 years old and tiny so it's been hard to find things to fit in the kitchen. I'm absolutely happy with this table and chairs. I do not like the chairs. They are not comfortable to sit on. The table is ok, very small, seems smaller than what it looked like in the picture (but I guess you get what you pay for, we didn’t want to pay a lot of money).
