We use this for our spices and can goods and other stuff that was just thrown on random shelving units we had. Our kitchen is small and it was cluttered and a mess really. This does have to be built. I used mainly my impact driver but they do include a really neat little 2 in 1 screwdriver where the handle can detach from the long silver bit piece with a flathead on one side and Philips on the other and the Philips is all you need to put this together. At first seeing all the hardware and pulling all the pieces out is overwhelming but they include extra hardware. Not all of it will be used. They include hardware to secure it to the wall but it's sturdy and there is no need for it. It has a built in spice rack which is awesome. Basically in the 32 steps. You build the top half. Build the bottom half and then you will need one other person to help guide while you lift the top half and fit it into the bottom half. Otherwise I did it all myself. Then you put together the four doors and attach them and there will be 3 detachable shelving units left for you to decide where you want them at a high medium or low placement level inside the unit and it's done. I removed the table from my dining room to give me space and all together maybe spent 2 hours total building it. Most of the time was spent looking at pictures and making sure I was putting hardware in the correct location. It's really not that difficult compared to some of these other cabinets and pretty decent quality. I wasn't expecting it to be like oak or some pristine quality wood. It's affordable. Looks great and performs it's duty exceptionally well.

Easy to assemble if you have help and follow instructions. Unit appeared bigger in photos. Was pleasantly surprised that a small box of cereal fit on the shelf. This may not work for a family but will help a single person needing food storage

Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase of 2 units and can't add too much to the other reviews other than to say that the photo of two units positioned side by side is misleading. I had planned to position mine that way. Without significant space between the two units, the lower-most left-hand door of the unit on the right can't open. The reason is that the lower left door is thick because it contains shelves. I was able to rearrange my living space to accommodate the two units. In general, be aware that some space must be maintained to the left of each unit to allow the lower left door to open.

My new apartment kitchen is not set up for a vertically challenged person so I knew I’d need something to supplement my limited cabinet space. This cabinet arrived in a huge, heavy box. A friend’s 19 year old son put it together in about an hour. I’m told he’s something of an expert at putting furniture together - regardless of the number of pieces involved, so he may not be the best benchmark to use. I love it! It has adjustable shelves and offers me various ways to organize my kitchenware and pantry items. I put my dishes and glassware in the top section and my pantry items in the lower section. It works for me and my needs. Great price, great cabinet, great buy!ii
