I had a portable electric washer that died, so since I only used it for the cars, I bought the mounted unit. The self retracting hose is a game changer! What is interesting is even though the portable unit I owned claimed to produce 4200 PSI, this unit is more powerful.

I recently had the opportunity to use the Giraffe Tools Pressure Washer, and while the idea behind the product is fantastic and it performed admirably for the first few days, my overall experience has been less than ideal. Here's a breakdown of my journey with this product: Customer Service: On a positive note, I must commend the customer service team at Giraffe Tools. They were incredibly responsive, helpful, and prompt in their communication. Every interaction with them was a breeze, which is a rarity in today's market. Replacement Process: When issues arose with my pressure washer, the replacement process was impressively smooth. The team facilitated the replacements without any hassle, which was a relief during a frustrating situation. Product Performance and Durability: Initially, the pressure washer worked great. The concept is brilliant, and it's evident that when the product works as intended, it can be a valuable tool. Unfortunately, this is where the positives end. I received three units in total, and all of them failed in different ways, which was both disappointing and concerning. The first unit's hose broke after just a couple of weeks. The second one ceased working entirely after a few days, and the third one started leaking internally, also after just a few days. It's important to note that I didn't subject the pressure washer to heavy use or anything beyond normal tasks. The recurring issues with each unit suggest there might be underlying design or manufacturing problems that need to be addressed. Final Thoughts: The idea of this Pressure Washer is excellent, and when it works, it's a fantastic tool. However, based on my experience with multiple units failing in various ways, it seems there might be reliability issues with the current version of this product. While the customer service is top-notch and the replacement process is straightforward, the primary purpose of a product is to work reliably, which, unfortunately, was not my experience. For potential buyers, I'd say proceed with caution. The concept and initial performance are promising, but the longevity and reliability seem to be significant concerns. So I’m coming up to having this pressure washer for two years. Overall it’s been great. I use it every Sunday to wash mine and wife’s cars. Also use it to clean my cement around my house and my kids playground. Has run flawlessly and has zero leaks. That’s why I recommend it to family and friends. I have it mounted inside my garage next to garage door and it is hard plumbed in with a shut off valve. I give it a four star for how easy it is and the performance. It loses one star cause the coil spring and the guide don’t match up anymore. If you look at the picture you can see the guide in the middle but the hose is to one side. It makes it a pain to roll up. The rail guide is In great condition so I’m not sure how it sipped over. If you are thinking about buying this. Don’t hesitate it’s been great works well, is pretty quiet for a pressure washer. ... show more

It’s a great pressure washer, about 20 minutes to setup. Make sure to tighten fittings all the way, as it builds pressure water will find the path of least resistance. Working perfectly, no issues. Is it the most powerful pressure washer out there? No. But for around the house it’s absolutely perfect to washer outdoor walkways, furniture and cars. The retractable hose is super strong and fast. Up until this happened, I loved this pressure washer. Super convenient and easy to operate. Again, if it wasn’t for what happened my rating would be 4-5 stars. Hopefully someone reaches out and makes this right. 100% cheap metal on the pump side. Outlet of pump that goes to the hose itself broke off ( as in the cheap metal broke ). Potentially JB weld could help this but I’m just hoping the company makes right. ... show more

I mounted this pressure washer to the fence in the front of my house. Absolutely one of my best investments. This makes cleaning light surface dirt on the house and cars quick and a breeze. Everything is set up and can pull out and retract in seconds. I keep a suds cannon ready to go behind it at all times for fast washing of cars. I was able to wash the entire car in about 5 minutes with putting up the hose. The pressure does seem a little light. I am using the 15º tip to get more force. I do have plenty of water gpm coming into the system. ... show more
