This product is wonderful, only if you need to wear them two days a week. The first month was great! They looked good, felt good, and was a great look for a fine dining establishment. However, I work more than two days a week. I've already had to replace the insoles and the shoe strings. These shoes are also prone to mildew. They were definitely not meant to work in a restaurant, not even a fine dining, five star, carpeted, and minimal harsh conditioned place. If you work in an office with a waxed floor, then they're perfect. However, if you work in a place that will present different floor conditions and moderate to high volume traffic, then stay away from this product. These are not meant for the studious worker. I work full time in fine dining and needed a new pair of shoes so I picked these up. I figured that Dockers would be quality and comfy and I liked that they weren't actual leather. It took about 2 weeks to break in the heel before I would stop getting blisters. The soles have never been comfortable and my feet always hurt after work. The psuedo leather scuffs really easily and I have to touch them up every day even though I regulary polish them. Finally, despite cleaning them after every shift and only owning them for two months, the leather is already starting to crack. ... show more

Bought the shows mid March and we are un a few days into June and the black material of the shoe is coming off. I guess they are not authentic or description is not accurate about Slip Resistant given that They will be around water.

Edit: product quality has gone to complete crap. These shoes can’t even last a month now. I've purchased this shoe 4 times now. I put a lot a of wear and tear on them for work. I've tried some other shoes through the years and can't find a replica of comfortability with no inserts for a professional non-slip work shoe. The inside of the shoe holds up well through its extraneous life on my feet. The outside can start peeling off, but I do use my feet to get leverage on cleaning tasks and the under part of cabinets to open them, so I fully expect that to happen; its not like they start peeling for no reason. ... show more

I love these shoes! nonslip and very nice looking dress shoes. Finding the combination of those 2 things is vital when managing restaurants. I used to be slipping and sliding everywhere during my shift because my nice dress shoes were not slip resistant at all. Don't do it. I didn't know it was possible for feet to experience so much pain. They cause a different kind of pain though, unlike anything I have ever experienced. The pain seems to originate from the front pad. It is like there is some kind of nail bed right in the center. The pain is mild at first but then radiates outward to where each step is absolute torture. I was going to return them but I was contacted by the CIA. They told me that they were moving away from water boarding and toward using these shoes as their new interrogation technique. ... show more

It pains me to say that even though I love The style of the shoes, for working /safe steps shoes are good looking and none orthopedic looking (like other non slip shoes) HOWEVER they don't last long. I work at The Capital Grille, a High pace demanding place. Love the excitement of every challenge to make every guests feel like royalty but as much as I love the look of this shoes, they are not up to the part. They start chipping off once in contact with water and eventually start making funny noises with drives me crazy because I can't wear them if I'm getting everyone's attention for the wrong reason.
