The media could not be loaded. Both my birds loved it. The motor spooked them at first but they got used to it and enjoyed the bath. I placed the plastic basket inside to prevent them from slipping inside and they loved it.

The media could not be loaded. Would buy again in a HEARTBEAT! This little sink is SO cute! I bought it for my bearded dragons after seeing someone else had bought it for theirs. My beardies love it and it's the perfect size for them just to play in or relax. I haven't had any problem with leakage. It's pretty sturdy and super easy to clean. No actual assembly, just pop the batteries in, slide the faucet on and fill with water. It also comes with cute little toys, fruits, dishes and a dish rack that are made of the same sturdy plastic. This video is of my female beardie, Ramen, enjoying her first little spa day in her new sink! :-)

The first one we received didn't turn on at all. We tried several brand new batteries to be sure it wasn't something on our end. So we returned it for a replacement which came the next day and worked great at first. Our bird LOVED it! But it worked for only one day of using it twice for 10 minutes each time. We thought it was the batteries, so we replaced with several brand new batteries. None worked. My husband is an electrician and disassembled the whole pump assembly to discover that the pump was fried. Worthless piece of junk. And we had thrown away the packaging so we can not return it. Our conure was distressed when we removed it. Now we're looking for a better replacement.

I got the aqua & orange color scheme, and the colors look great. Big enough to use as a bird bath for a plumhead parakeet. The water pump has not broken yet as others have complained that theirs did. I'll try and be careful, but I'll have to wait & see. The faucet doesn't turn 360 degrees or even 180 degrees, only between 45 degrees to 90 degrees so don't force it when you feel resistance as you'll break it. It's great as a child's toy or as a pet bird bath for medium to small size birds. The birds aren't going to likely have much interest in the plastic dishes and plastic food just the running water so you can put those up or at the bird's play area and see if they have more interest there in those things. I think I will buy 1 or 2 more of these for the other 2 cages my plumhead parakeet has in the house. I set them on top of the cages.

The media could not be loaded. Update: 06_28_2025 My pump was beginning to stick. Usually, a gentle jar would make the motor run again. However, this wasn't the case. So, I took the pump assembly apart, and removed the motor from the housing. What I found was disturbing. There was black grease with grit mixed in. This grease served absolutely no purpose. The motor is self contained, and the housing did not need to be greased. I cleaned all the grease and grit from the plastic cylinder and motor. There was grit on the spindle where the plastic fan is attached. I used WD40 to remove the grease and grit, and applied a small amount of light weight oil to the spindle for a little liberation. Now the motor runs, doesn't stick, and is a bit quieter than it was when I first used this toy. There is one major flaw to this toy. That it does not have a filter. Anything that gets into the water in the sink whether it’s your birds feathers, droppings, calcium buildup from city/ town water supply will get sucked up into the pump and cause it to malfunction. There is a solution to this problem. Take a thin cotton cloth or even a paper towel and place it underneath the faucet/ pump. Insert it back into the sink. Being the cloth will be so thin water should not have a problem penetrating through the cloth or paper towel. Naturally you will “not” want to use a super absorbent paper towel. You would want to use an inexpensive brand that has less absorption. Even a paper napkin would do the trick. I found the pump works better when using lukewarm water. Not cold, and definitely not hot. If you're wondering if this is a child's toy, you would be correct. I did a little detective work on the manufacturer's name. The ads display a child playing with this sink set. However, is also can be an oversized bath tub for a bird but not a parrot. I dislike the fact that pictures of true to size birds are not being used when promoting items such as this. Instead it is a cut and paste. Reviews indicate that the motor/ pump have a short duration period. The motor can be replaced. When my sink arrives, I will post pictures of the inside of the faucet assembly to give you an idea of how little effort there would be to replace the motor. The motor is the same motor that is used in robots, motorized race cars, etc. I am sure you can purchase one on amazon, or your local hobby store, or off the internet.
