I got these for some babies we had for them to practice roosting before going into the big coop. While they didnt really care about them much unfortunately the small roosts worked great for my indoor bantams. Perfect size for 1 bantam hen. Im surprised the roost was sturdy enough to hold the additional weight of an adult bantam bird without tipping as long as they stay on the top bar. Otherwise, it does rock a bit, but birds are smart enough to notice and move. Roost is a bit large to clean in a bathroom sink properly, however I just move to a larger area to accommodate that. Easy to remove anything stuck to the wood with soap and hot water. Overall value for the price in my opinion my birds love them. I purchased 2. Easy to put together in about 5 mins. just dont over tighten screws! My favorite part about these is the quality of the wood. I purchased a larger roost similar to this, but not the same brand and the wood cracked when assembled. This roost did NOT and has fallen a few times due to my error and still held up. ... show more

This was easy to put together and feels sturdy once set up. The design is nice and gives the chicks something to climb on and explore. My chicks don’t really use it much yet, but they do fight over it, so clearly it’s getting their attention. I do wish I had painted or sealed it first because it’s already getting pretty gross from use. It’s a nice, big size for 6-8 chickens to play on. Was just a tad off kilter but this can be adjusted as you screw it together. Good value for the money. It’s raw wood so not very easy to get squeaky clean but this can be fixed by maybe wood staining it ahead of time.

Bought this perch for my two week old chicks that are starting to climb on everything. They’ve had so much fun figuring out how to jump on it and roost. Was very easy to put together with the tool it came with, took maybe 5 minutes or less. Very happy that my chicks are happy!

I was really disappointed with this wooden chick perch. The wood quality is extremely cheap and flimsy. As soon as I started tightening the screws during assembly, the wood started cracking and splitting. I wasn’t even applying much pressure—just normal tightening—and the pieces busted almost immediately. Because the wood is so soft and weak, the screws don’t hold properly, which makes the whole perch feel unstable and poorly made. It’s frustrating to put something together only for it to break before it’s even fully assembled. Overall, this feels like a very low-quality product that wasn’t designed to handle basic assembly. I wouldn’t recommend it and would suggest looking for something made from sturdier wood. ... show more
