I needed a stand for our small bird cage and I decided to try this, and I am glad that I did! I initially thought that the stand was silver but I was sent a white stand, which is fine it still looks nice. Putting the stand together took me about 5-10 minutes and is pretty sturdy also and this stand is being used on carpet. After I hung the cage on the hook, the metal tube that supports the hook didn’t even flex a little, so the cage is safely hanging from the stand hook. I looked around some for stands and options for my bird cage and this seems to be the best and most cost effective, so I’m glad that I made this purchase. ... show more

This is a real nice stand, it's well made, sturdy and easy to put together. The people that gave this a bad review should pay someone else to put their stuff together, because apparently they don't know how to tighten screws. The only way the hook could have come loose and dropped the cage is if they didn't tighten it in the first place. I highly recommend this. UPDATE: It's been nearly a year and guess what? It hasn't killed my bird yet! This has been a great stand, my little bird can get his cage rocking pretty good during his wild play and the stand hardly moves at all. Disregard the negative reviews, it's easy to assemble, all the parts come with it, its very sturdy and a quality stand. P.S Just make sure you tighten the bolts and the cage won't fall off, LOL, some people........ ... show more

I purchased this product for my grandmother to use as a plant hanger because we could not find what she wanted or needed for her plants. She could not place her plants on a higher surface where she lives, so we had to get creative. This holds her bi-level macrame plant hanger with moderately heavy ceramic pots with real looking synthetic hanging plants. Will try to post photo another time. She receives compliments on it regularly! She loves it! It was easy to put together. I highly recommend this over a 3-legged stand. ... show more

This stand is just what I needed and takes up very little floor space. It was easy to assemble. However, the hook it came with that holds the cage, was much too small for the hole so there was no way to tighten it enough. I purchased an eyebolt and carabiner from Lowe’s for about $4 and it is holding great. I wrapped the handle of my birds cage in wire twine so it won’t slip, but all cages may not need that depending on the handle. Again, the stand is good but with a little bit of engineering it’s great, and I am very happy with it so I’m still giving it four stars. ... show more

I am glad I purchased this item. It has really saved the need of putting holes in my walls. It was not difficult to assemble, (no instructions were included). The bird stand is sturdy and reliable. It arrived in a few days. The only real con that I found with this item is that the cage tilts at times, (not the stand) due to the hook holding the cage. My birds don't seem to mind. I would highly recommend this bird cage stand to anyone that is tired of putting holes in their walls and to the freedom of moving your little pets from one room to another! ... show more

I was really worried about ordering this because of the reviews but I’m happy to say mine is in perfect shape! No rust, no damage of any kind it feels pretty sturdy but I’m using mine for plants an not a bird cage. It was super easy to put together. I’m really happy with it. I would definitely order more if needed as I have my hanging plants on bird cage stands like this instead of hanging from the wall or something else. I love that it’s taller an I can easily hang my ivys from it an they not hit the floor unlike most hanging plant stands. So if your thinking about using it for plants it works great! ... show more

It does it's job but seems a little flimsy. Easy to put together but if you use it outside I'd recommend an area that is out of the rain. Also it there is wind I'd advise something heavy on the supports to keep it upright in a storm. Our "genuine" imitation Parrot fell over when it tried to fly one night when the wind kicked up. It now is in a hundred pieces in the land fill and we are looking for a replacement. ... show more

Like some others in the reviews I was initially leery of purchasing this based off horror stories of missing parts and collapsing stands. However, I have had no problems in the first 24 hours of owning it. The assembly is simple, the end product is sturdy, and it does not wobble on my carpeted flooring. It holds my cockatiel's 26" x 14" Prevue SP1804-4 cage (https://www.amazon.com/Prevue-Pet-Products-SP1804-4-Flight/dp/B00SK7HOS6) with all his perches and toys (and him) without issue, and it does not seem in any danger of tipping over. I will certainly be keeping a close eye on it for some time to make sure my bird remains safe, but after assembly I felt secure enough with the quality of the stand to put the cage right on it. If something does happen with this stand I will return to this review to reflect that, but currently: five stars! ... show more
