This is a very high quality product in my opinion and great value for money. The aluminum tracks are very sturdy and I was able to install them in under half an hour. They fit my door perfectly because my door has the groove to accept them. The last track had to be cut down to size, of course, so you will need a hacksaw. The screws are self tapping and do not require pre-drilling, in fact they work better if not pre-drilled. When it comes to feeding the gasket into the track, you don't need 2 people, (although it would have been faster with two). First, I squirted hand soap all the way along the tracks, then alternately pushed the rubber 'tail' into the track, until it stuck, then pulled the 'head' through a bit further, not too much, maybe six inches to avoid pulling the tail off the track. Just do that about a dozen times and it's in. Then I used a pair of garden pruners to cut the rubber to size. This all took me around 30 minutes because it took me a little while to figure out the best method. Now its just a case of moving the stop switch around to get the height of the door closure just right. Too far in one direction and you will get a gap. Too far the other direction, the door will close then re-open because the obstacle safeguards kick in. Once it is perfect, you are done. Have a cup of tea and marvel at how good the door looks.

This was a great kit easy to install. Track came a little longer but I'd rather that then short so cutting is involved. Had to use different screws then what where perverted. Should hold up seems like good quality

I was nervous about installing this myself, alone, but it couldn’t have been easier. The tracks come precut in several pieces, making a one person installation easier. That said, if your garage is 16ft long, you will need to cut/saw since you will have excess track. A handsaw or a metal grinder will work. It was my first time with a grinder and no issues there. The screws in this package are self perforating so you didn’t even need to pre-drill. The seal itself is also easy to isntall. Watch a video beforehand. It slide in fine halfway before I needed help to push. I suggest you spray soapy water or a lubricant to glide the seal. I started with the good end first ( the bad end is the side of the seal that is bent out of shape from shipping). If you are able bodied and alone, lift the end above your head and it will make sliding easy. If you need help, have someone feed the seal while you pull. Keep in mind, if your floor is not level this esp may not fully close any light gaps. My corners are not level so I will need to raise the ground a bit, but product worked great and covers the length of my door.

I tried three other products for my 30 year old door and none fit. This one fit, was fairly easy to install, and with an abundance of liquid soap and silicone spray, I was able to slide the 10’ rubber gasket into place myself. Appears to be a well made product at a fair price. (Be prepared to cut off a fraction of an inch from the final piece of aluminum, if necessary.) Unfortunately, the supplier provides wood screws when pan-head screws would be more appropriate…..thus my 4 star rating.

My garage door had an unusual shape on the bottom, not flat, but with one side raised about a quarter of an inch. This fit the door perfectly and allowed me to replace the old barrier that was completely flattened and baked.

My garage door seal was definitely worn out and old and needed to be replaced but they don't make them anymore but this was a good replacement. I didn't realize at first that it included screws in the box so I of course went to the hardware store and bought some and then found them later when I went to throw the box away so if you get this just make sure you look in the box. It's probably best to have a couple of people to help line it up and screw it in place the screws are self tapping so you just put them in and they were plenty long to work with my original door and you definitely need two people to help scoop the seal in. One person can get most of the way by pushing the seal in from the end but it really does help with another person to help pull on the other end.
