The media could not be loaded. I grabbed this Dove Melanin Even Tone Body Wash on a whim. Honestly, I wasn’t expecting anything crazy—I just needed a good body wash that wouldn’t dry out my skin. But this stuff? It actually impressed me. The scent is the first thing I noticed. It’s warm, clean, and feels a little more “grown man” than some of the sweet or floral body washes out there. Not overpowering, but it stays on your skin in a subtle way after a shower. It lathers up really nicely too. You don’t need to use a ton to get that rich, creamy foam. I’ve been using it daily and my skin feels noticeably softer and smoother. I don’t know if it’s the pro-ceramides or whatever’s in it, but my elbows and shoulders aren’t as dry as they used to be. As for the “even tone” claim—can’t say I was expecting miracles, but I have noticed my skin looking more even and healthier overall after a couple of weeks. No weird residue or greasy feel either. Just clean, hydrated skin. Pros: ✅ Smells clean and subtle—not too strong ✅ Leaves skin soft and moisturized without feeling greasy ✅ Lathers up great—one bottle lasts longer than I thought ✅ Feels like a step up from basic body wash Cons: 🔸 It’s a little pricier than regular Dove, but worth it for the quality 🔸 Pump would be nice—squeezing the bottle with wet hands isn’t ideal If you’re a guy like me who never really thinks about body wash beyond “it cleans me,” give this one a try.     • Body wash smells wonderful and left my skin feeling polished
I'm a fan of Dove products in general so when I saw the exfoliating body wash, I ordered it immediately. The first thing I noticed was the fragrance. It was like a mini explosion of exotic fruit. A little goes a long way when I used the body wash with the bath puff, it got thick and foamy. The body wash also has exfoliating beads that helped make my skin feel smooth, fragrant and refreshed. I was offered a coupon when I purchased the body wash, so I paid six dollars instead of nine. To me, the price was more than reasonable and a good value. I love this. It smells exactly like peaches/mangos. Feels so smooth and silky. This has a perfect balance of sweetness. If like to smell tropical and sweet this is for you. It also exfoliates with the beads in it, so it’s a win win when it comes to bathing.
