When I opened the box, I sorted out all the pieces to make it easier to assemble. I did notice I was short 1 of the longer beaded strings and had 1 extra of the short-beaded strings. However, I made it work and used the extra short-beaded string in place of the longer one and it is not noticeable. My husband and I built and installed this together. One thing is the instructions could have been more detailed. When building this you need to know that the long-beaded glass strings hook into the round loops not into the metal holes on the lamp. We found this lamp reasonably easy to assemble and install and the price was reasonable. Also, this chandelier comes with plenty of chain so you can adjust it to the exact height you want and easily cut off the excess chain. This lamp is now the centerpiece of our dining room and makes a HUGE difference which was exactly what we were hoping for. I totally recommend this beautiful chandelier! ... show more

I have to say that this chandelier is so, so pretty. It really looks great once it is hung. The crystal beads really pop against the black finish. They have a nice sparkle to them, even when the light is off. The bottom of the chandelier is right at 20 inches wide, so it isn’t overwhelming, even in the smaller spaces. It has that upscale look without hitting your wallet with upscale prices. It is easy to assemble and install.
