This wasn't a planned upgrade, given that my Z490 AORUS board and 10th gen CPU were still producing more than adequate FPS in the games I play. But when a $400 motherboard goes on sale for just over a quarter of the price, it's too good a deal to pass up. Of course, to run at PCIe v4.0, the CPU needed to be upgraded to 11th gen. OK, done, and still all under the original price of the motherboard alone. Super stable with 1.4V Vcore even with the ratios set at 54 for all eight cores. DDR4 RAM runs stable all day long at 4600 MHz using XMP profile. And on a custom loop, the highest CPU package temp I've recorded is 73C when benchmarking. My only complaint is that the BIOS (shipped with F6 and subsequently updated to F8f) defaults the Vcore to over 1.6V and that is a CPU killer (over time). I strongly recommend manually under-volting the CPU with this motherboard -- either through the BIOS or second party software like Intel XTU. All that said, I REALLY like this board (though I prefer ASUS software like their AI Suite3 and GPU TweakIII). ... show more

La placa la compre, ya que la vi aun excelente precio y me parecía excelente por sus prestaciones, su problema mas grande es el puerto Ethernet, ya que no detecta mi cable, lo conecto pero menciona que la "red no esta identificada" instale la ultima versión del driver pero nada, no funciona, por suerte puedo usar el wifi, pero digamos que no es lo mismo pudiendo usar una conexión por cable la cual es mas fiable y rápida, Gigabyte debería revisar bien sus productos antes de lanzarlos al mercado, aun puedo pedir reembolso, por un lado quisiera hacerlo, pero por el otro me costo tiempo armar mi PC ya que es el primero que monto y ya me da pereza volver a montar todo de nuevo. Actualización después de casi 6 meses: Me di cuenta que en la Bios al usar los perfiles XMP de las memorias RAM, el PC no es estable, me pasó con 2 módulos de RAM distintos, unos a 3200 y otros a 4400, pero poniendo los valores a mano ya funciona estable el sistema, otro error que Gigabyte debe corregir ya que la idea del perfil XMP es facilitar el OC de las memorias RAM. Actualización 2023: Ya se soluciono el problema del XMP con la versión de BIOS F8f y el problema del ethernet con un driver nuevo o fue moviendo el cable una de dos, el punto es que ya esta perfecta ... show more

My original order never shipped, and I had to cancel it after two months of waiting, for a refund. I was not informed of any delays; instead I had to constantly check for updates on Amazon, and eventually gave up. I did obtain the four motherboards from other sources. This motherboard is unreliable. It refuses to boot after BIOS update, and the manufacturer informed me that my RAM is most likely incompatible with the BIOS upgrade (????????). Furthermore, if you assign too much RAM to the onboard graphics, the motherboard will not boot, but will eventually reset its' BIOS. This product has been a real mess. I have tried three different motherboards (of four I purchased). One inexplicably died, the other two have to be kept at the original/initial BIOS version, and VERY CAREFULLY configured in order to run. Both, the CPUs and RAM used with these motherboards are brand-new, and have exhibited no problems in the Z590-based Asus motherboards. I should have just purchased more Asus Z590 motherboards, but they are now very difficult to find. I have to say I'm hugely disappointed. ... show more

I like this motherboard it has many options, I used an Intel processor and corsair memory the installation went well upgraded the bios to F8 and installed all of the tools with no problem. I installed a Samsung M2 drive the motherboard recognized it right away with windows 11 I would say this motherboard was a great purchase no issues. ... show more

This is one of the best z590 board for it's price. Has all the features you need and great vrm and cooling Super clean looks. Good tasteful RGB and not too much. Everything worked out of box. I haven't had any Lan or RGB issues like some of the reviews here. Everything worked even without installing the manufacturer drivers but I installed them anyway. So far it's awesome! ... show more
