  • Great for the price
Bought this for a long needed new build. (Thanks to the stimi!) Decided it was a decent price with subtle RGB (logo). Worked out of the box no problems. After drivers and updates, my build is fast and working like a dream. Using a i7-10700k (10th gen does work) and a MSI 1070 from my old build. This is my first time overclocking too. Easy tune ups the CPU to 4.7 Ghz from 3.8. I want to go further but I plan on adding a water cooling kit before I mess around with that. Same thing with the RAM, except I had to manually OC them. Easy enough to go up in small increments though. Manually adjusting fans only helps so much. Anyway, great mobo! Gigabyte did a good job. ... show more

  • Amazing gaming board for good price
A good board for gaming, its looks amazing and its have a good looking bios with quick bios update botton on the board itself, this board comes with app center app for easy tuning and rgb control.. if you want a cpu cooler you should go with aio and not air cooling one because the board have a big and long io shield so air cooling fans with 2 fans my have a competbility problems.. (1 fan cpu air cooler should have no problem... overall its a good gaming board with alot of featurs for good price ... show more

Great Motherboard Replacement for any Office or Home PC Great value for money, well worth the upgrade with Performance & Reliability.

  • There's nothing wrong with the ETHERNET
Contrary to the alarming previous review, this board uses Realtek 2.5mbps ethernet, not 10mbps anything. And it works just fine, and Windows 10 has drivers for it. I've used this chip on several boards, and it's always been flawless. It's nothing fancy but it works. People also complain about the CPU PCIe m.2 slot not working with 10th gen processors, but that is true of all Z590 boards. More notably it was that way on Gigabyte Z490 boards too, with their CPU m.2 slot labeled 'reserved for future use'. The additional 4 PCIe lanes that connect it to the CPU are not present in 10th generation processors. This is a great Z590 board for the money, with the VRM being solid enough for fairly aggressive i9 11900k or i9 10900k overclocks. 12 phases with 60A power stages is good for about anything in real-world use, but extreme overclockers may find enough value in higher-end products with more phases and/or 70-90A parts to spend more. I'm running an i9 10900k at 5GHz x 10 at just under 1.3V and the VRM reaches ~75C under prolonged AVX2 torture testing. I'm using the Meshify 2 Compact case with EK 360AIO mounted in front, a 120mm exhaust in the back and two 140mm exhausts in the top panel. My 4x8GB Ballistix Elite DDR4-4000 kit runs flawlessly via XMP. This board has strong USB support with a 3.2gen2x2 type C (20mpbs) port on the back panel and a 3.2gen2 (10mpbs) type C internal header for connecting to the front panel. There are also another 8 type A ports of various types on the back panel. The one thing I don't like about this board is the location of the first m.2 slot run off the chipset. It's directly under the heatsink of any 2 slot video card, meaning you cannot run an effective heatsink on the SSD without it hitting the video card. The flashy heat spreader supplied with the board for this slot is so ineffective that combined with the video card's tendency to block airflow and heat the SSD with its own radiated heat drives placed in this slot run hot. Making it essentially a one-m2 board with 10th gen processors. But boards with better layouts in this price range tend to have weaker VRMs and sparser features, so I went with this one and a 2TB NVMe SSD in the one good m.2 slot. The BIOS is stable and fully featured and the integrated audio is excellent. The 6 fan headers are well placed and all can switch between PWM and voltage speed regulation, respond to any temperature sensor and support fan-stop. The minimal RGB is easily turned off without software, and the build quality is great. For my needs there aren't compelling reasons to spend more on a Z590 board, but if you want wifi the AX version is a no-brainer for 10 bucks more. ... show more

  • Almost perfect
My only complaint is that the included M.2 heat sinks don't actually touch the samsung evo 980 drives when mounted underneath. I had to buy and add an additional "in between" sticky plate to make them functional. Everything else about this board is perfection. Bios is easy to understand and it was kind enough to warn me at POST that the slots I put my ram into were not initially optimized for dual channel bandwidth (you use slots 1 and 3, not 1 and 2). Highly recommended. ... show more

  • If you are experience you will have no problems.
This is one heck of a motherboard, I mean if you’re looking for something that has everything on it this is the one. It’s ready to except anything you want to put into it so it’s expansion abilities are remarkable. With three M.2 slots on the board you can load this machine directly to the motherboard without outside connectors if you want too. It is ready for Intel Optane and has a slot that will allow direct connection to the CPU for memory. Well worth the expense. If you know how to build hi tech computers you will have no problems with this motherboard. ... show more

  • Arrived Faulty
Board wouldn't post. I've built countless PC's. I know how to test for faults. Tested literally every component on a different PC as well and they worked fine. I used to like gigabyte. I bought their boards in the past. Older ones worked great. The modern ones are trash it seems. Don't buy this. Look elsewhere. ... show more
