  • Cheap and reliable for DIY nas projects
Style: B760M|D|M.2 x2|Non-WIFI|DDR4 Size: mATX
I recently built my DIY TrueNAS server using the GIGABYTE B760M DS3H DDR4 motherboard, and it's been a fantastic choice. The motherboard pairs seamlessly with my Intel Core i3-12100 processor, ensuring smooth and stable performance. One of the standout features is the ample number of SATA ports, which is perfect for my multiple storage drives. The dual M.2 slots provide excellent flexibility for future upgrades, and the BIOS is user-friendly, making setup a breeze. The build quality is solid, and the board's layout is well thought out, making cable management straightforward. While the motherboard offers great value, it does come with some limitations, like the lack of built-in Wi-Fi and fewer USB ports than some higher-end models. Despite these minor drawbacks, it's a reliable and efficient choice for a home server, and I'm very satisfied with its performance in my TrueNAS setup. ... show more

  • Good! "No Bootable Devices Found" fix:
Style: B760M|D|M.2 x2|Non-WIFI|DDR4 Size: mATX
Works fine so far. "No Bootable Devices Found" A little troubleshooting advice for noobs like me: when you first boot up after the mobo install and the GIGABYTE BIOS screen shows up with "no bootable devices found" under "Boot Sequence". Be sure to go to advanced settings, and somewhere in there, there's a tab labeled "CMS Support: Disabled" IT HAS TO BE ENABLED (double click) or the computer will not boot. Assign "Storage Boot..." and "Other PCI Devices" to "Legacy". Save and exit and you computer will start after cycling a few times. Took me 2 hours to figure this out. Hope this helps! ... show more

  • Awesome DDR4 Intel board!
Style: B760M|D|M.2 x2|Non-WIFI|DDR4 Size: mATX
Best DDR4 Intel board there is!! Tons of connectivity, ARGB, m.2 slots, plenty of cooling, only thing it doesn’t have is WIFI/bluetooth which doesn’t matter to me because I use wired connection & a $10 Bluetooth adapter

  • Good Choice
Style: B760M|D|M.2 x2|Non-WIFI|DDR4 Size: mATX
I’ve been really impressed with this Gigabyte motherboard. Setup was straightforward, the BIOS is easy to navigate, and everything worked right out of the box. Build quality feels solid, with plenty of ports and good expansion options for the price. Performance has been smooth and reliable, and it pairs nicely with my CPU and RAM without any compatibility issues. For what you get at this price point, it’s excellent value compared to other boards in the same range. If you’re looking for a dependable motherboard that won’t break the bank, this is a great choice. ... show more

  • Great budget friendly MOBO
Style: B760M|D|M.2 x2|Non-WIFI|DDR4 Size: mATX
This is a great budget friendly micro ATX motherboard. I have always loved Gigabyte boards and this one is no exception. I needed to finally upgrade my WFH computer as Microsoft will be discontinuing support for Windows 10 and when that day comes I won't be able to log into my workplace VPN on my old computer which cannot 'Officially' be upgraded to Win11. So I replaced the MOBO, CPU, & RAM in my existing case, Re-using the PSU, drives and miscellaneous other bits. It was the cheapest way forward and now that I have everything put back together and running the free upgrade of Windows 11 I do really appreciate the increased speed. I have the OS installed on an M.2 NVME card that connected directly to the CPU (according to Gigabyte) and the thing boots in like 15 seconds. Seriously, My phone doesn't even turn on that quickly. LOL. I did not opt for the DDR5 version of this board because I thought that would be overkill and outside of my 'as cheap as possible' mission statement. I'm also using the onboard graphics of the Core I5 12600 and I'm not noticing any issues at all so far. I'm not into gaming so I dont need the bleeding edge. ... show more

  • Great board, but no mounting bolts included
Style: B760M|D|M.2 x2|Non-WIFI|DDR4 Size: mATX
Notched one star out of "Tech Support" for this M/B not shipping with a packet of bolts that secure board to a case. This should not be a problem if you do a M/B upgrade and retain those bolts after removing old M/B. Still, why would company that sells a M/B ships me a SATA cable for a drive that is not part of the deal, but fails to supply bolts for the M/B that it actually does sell? I had an all new build and had to scramble to find correct bolts. Otherwise board is good, no problems installing it and most drivers came straight from Win 11. I only had to run Intel INF installer on top of it. In fact this M/B was my second choice, but the first choice board from MSI had a problem getting GPU card initialized, going into a boot cycle half way into POST. I always considered MSI a good brand, but now I wonder how much of a QA they do these days. Installing M/B just to find that it is defective is quite a pain, considering CPU/fan/paste shenanigans involved. I say, spend extra $20 and get this board instead. Just make sure you have those bolts lined up for installation. ... show more

  • DOA
Style: B760M|D|M.2 x2|Non-WIFI|DDR4 Size: mATX
I ordered 2 of these boards. One board would not post or show anything at all on screen during POST but after some googling around on the internet, I found a possible solution that did work. It has been a month not and the board is still working. The 2nd board would not show anything on the screen, no keyboard lights from NUM LOCK or CAPS LOCK, and no activity from the ethernet port. I performed the same possible fixes on this one too, but still nothing. I sent the board back to Gigabyte who said that some of the PINS on the CPU socket were bent and they wanted to charge me $100 to fix that. I understand because that was outside of "normal use". I checked the sellers return and that is 90 days or less. I opened this brand-new board outside of the return window. I just took for granted that the 1-year policy applied to electronic products. I have checked with Amazon, and Gigabyte and no one can help me with exchanging or any amount of store credit. My advice to all of you buying computer parts from Amazon is to check and make sure that the item does not look defective (this one was NOT) and make sure it works within the 90 days. (My fault) ... show more

  • Red VGA light fix
Style: B760M|D|M.2 x2|Non-WIFI|DDR4 Size: mATX
Seeing the dreaded red VGA light with no POST? Pull the CMOS battery, wait a bit, and reinstall it. (While you're at it, swap in a proper Energizer, etc.) Oh, and decent little mATX board. The rear case insert is sloppily machined and flimsy. Pay attention to what's gonna poke out where, and adjust the insert as needed, before installing. ... show more
