I order 2 sets of 4 servings and they arrived in great shape as it was packaged well. Nothing was broken or cracked. They are microwave and dishwasher safe. I have become a huge fan of stoneware and these dishes do not disappoint.

I had put this on our wedding registry to update our old set. We received one set so we purchased the ones sets that we needed. They look very nice, the bowls seem to keep the food a lot warmer than our old set. One thing I would say about the bowls is they don't stack very well, so it takes more space in the cabinet. Otherwise it's a very nice set. I did give it only 4 stars since I was putting a cup in the dishwasher and it fell from my hand (about a 3 inch drop), and it broke the handle. It was my fault, and hit just right on the handle, but was hoping they would stand up slightly better. ... show more

I like that the material is good, so far the plates don't present scratches even though I'm using the knife in the plates. The cups are also really nice and they don't get too hot in the microwave. Just love it!

The media could not be loaded. We had similar style that we bought at Walmart 8 years ago...and I loved them. However we remodeled our kitchen and wanted new dishes that matched the colors. We looked and looked and I found these. I didn't want solid black. I preferred all white but I just didn't see any white that I liked that was affordable. I came across these and they fit the bill. Price was affordable (I needed 2 sets) and the color suited my husband who wanted black. Now, the white is a little more beige/cream than it is white, but it still fits with our decor. I have washed by hand, but haven't used them in dishwasher yet...I hope they dry without water spots. I am pleased with them overall. They were packed very well...good and tight....no cracks or scratches. I feel these will last just as long or more. ... show more
