Description

Hazard 4(R) Heavy Water Diver(R) watches glow continuously using self-powered tritium (H3) Swiss mini-lamps like in your pistol night sights - won’t fade overnight like luminescent paint. A Swiss-movement guarantees reliable accuracy. Built with 100% titanium, this 50mm large watch is only 1/2 the weight, but double the strength of a steel watch. A proven dive watch, it is water resistant to 300M / 990 FT depth. The unique, bold, military styling features easy-to-read numerals and our exclusive integrated 24-hour scale. The submarine-inspired aesthetics carry into the precision, 60-click uni- directional dive bezel topped with tritium zero indicator and the easy-turn screw-down crown. The face numerals are 3D stencil 2-layer design which along with angled chapter ring makes it not only tactical, but also a sophisticated timepiece suitable for the office or formal event. Available in an unprecedented range of tactical and urban oriented colors/finishes - they come equipped with a variety of straps and bracelets. Used in the most extreme environments by special forces, explorers, and professionals worldwide, it won’t let you down and makes an unforgettable formal present. • Not bad
Size: GMT Color: BlackTie White
This is a big watch at 50mm, a little too big, 46 or 47mm would suffice for my 7.5" wrist. Because of the ample size it tends to look like a costume watch that didn't cost $750, otherwise it looks good and serves its function well. It still looks ultra utilitarian and that's what I was going for, the numbers are huge and clear and unlike the Breitling you see in the background it is faster to look at your wrist to tell time with the Hazard than glance at your phone. The GMT feature is useful if set to the same timezone so you can tell time in 24hr mode quickly. The watch is very light so you don't notice the hulking disk on your arm at all compared to watches that are 10 times the price. This is a great 2nd or 3rd watch and a good addition to any man-jewelry collection. I think I'll get the titanium bracelet that goes with it, hopefully it has the same bead blasted finish as the case and it makes it look more like what I paid for it. So, if you need a big, burly dive watch in your collection then this is a good one that you won't see others wearing. It's not perfect, but it's pretty good and worth the money so far, and at $750 it's still considered value priced for some crazy reason- I blame Switzerland. ... show more

  • Awesome Watch.
Size: GMT Color: Brown Cavern
So far this watch is amazing. No issues at the time of writing this review (roughly 1mo ownership) 50mm watch face sounded giant, but even on my arm I don’t think it’s as bad as I had thought. I’m not a large built guy so it had me worried. PVD finish is very nice and uniform, we will see how it holds up in a year. The tritium glows bright, zero difficulty seeing the vials. I’m not planning to bang this watch up, so I can’t comment on durability, but it does seem to be built like a tank for what that’s worth. If you can afford it, I’d recommend it. I don’t think you’d be disappointed. ... show more

  • Really cool watch
Size: GMT Color: Brown Cavern
I really like this watch. It's a bigger watch, fills up the wrist nicely. I even got the black silicone band so I chould have options. It's very well made. It's not a heavy watch. The tritium tube's glow is remarkably easy to read at night. It appears to be very durable but at that price point I'm afraid to be anything but gentle with it. ... show more

  • Solid
Size: Standard Color: Blackout
Yes, it’s pricey but first impressions are high quality. The weight is excellent and especially like the watch band design. Time retention is spot. A great balance between tactical and masculine design.

  • Nice build quality and rugged looks
Size: GMT Color: BlackTie White
Very good build quality and very attractive looking watch. I can see why so many military, police, and sports enthusiast use this watch. The problem is that the main reason for buying this watch was being able to see the illumination in low light. In this case this watch failed my expectation miserably. In low to no light the watch indicators were barely visible. For this reason I cannot justify spending over $750 for this watch. ... show more

  • Not Bad
Size: Standard Color: White Snowfield
Should be a $500.00 Watch at the most due to some comparable options out there. However, I was pleasantly surprised with the quality, comfort and functionality of this piece. Granted, I've only had it a few days but it's great. Some YouTube reviews said the Lume was underwhelming, but it's very bright. Maybe in the earlier models there were lesser quality Tritium tubes? Regardless it's more than sufficient for my needs(Law enforcement). Pros, easy to set GMT, Regular times and dates. It's water resistant/proof to 300m. Very clear sapphire crystal, almost colorless and anti-glare, the dial and numbers are beautiful and easy to read, the rotating bezel is an awesome feature and of course the lume. Cons, the titanium is easy to soil and needs frequent cleaning and the strap lock feature is a pain especially of you have hairy wrists. When sliding the strap to the desired fit, I've found wetting the tip and strap keeper slightly helps to get it in place. And lastly the price could be a tad lower for what it does. I'd rate it 8.5 out of 10. I never give anything a 10 so consider a 9 the actual highest score. If you've got the money it's a good purchase and the warranty is solid. Lastly, the Tritium tubes have a half life of 12.5yrs or so. Which means they'll degrade to about half the brightness they are now in 12 yrs. They'll still work as do most of my Tritium night sights I have used. Can't telk a difference in those after a decade so... happy watching. Update: 6/5/24 I replaced the original strap with a Nato strap. When tightening the screw pins, both heads broke. I don't know if it was a faulty design or if I possibly over tightened them. I could see if it was just the first one but both shouldn't have snapped off. Especially with light pressure. Getting two new pins maybe it was just a bad batch? ... show more

  • Hazard 4 isn’t worth the money
Size: GMT Color: BlackTie White
Setting the date on this watch lasted a week, and this seller hasn’t responded to my request to remedy this. I wouldn’t buy this watch or from this seller. For a 1k watch, I’d expect it to last more than a week.
