It’s beautiful and worth the money
Oh WOWZA! What an absolutely beautiful set of dinnerware. I honestly did not expect such a well constructed set. All of the dinnerware is solid, not a crack, consistent in pattern and it is absolutely stunning. I am extremely pleased with it. I have to see if there are serving plates, sugar, creamer available as well. It’s downright beautiful! I was a bit concerned when it was delivered because the package was placed on its side. I thought for sure it would be cracked or something broken, to my surprise, it was double boxed, and between each plate and bowl it had corrugated cardboard separators, each cup also was surrounded with it. KUDOS to the manufacturer. I absolutely love it! ... show more

So far, so good.... they are definitely great looking
Review Image by Brea
I bought 2 sets of these so that we have 8 of everything. I thought that based on the photos that the large plates would be a little more "bowl like" but in reality, they're pretty flat. That was just a minor disappointment when I opened the package but other than that, they are beautiful. I love that they have a Santa Fe mixed with 1970's feel. The plates are nice and big and they stack very nicely. The mugs are also deceptively large and hold a ton of coffee which is great. The packaging was fantastic. I was really hoping that I wouldn't have to deal with any cracked or broken dishes but they were very professionally and securely packaged. I have only used them for a week so I don't have any insights into their longevity or resistance to chips but so far I am very happy with this purchase. ... show more

Beautiful and durable
I bought these when we bought our house in 2020, and I guess I never wrote a review of them (or if I did, I can't find it/don't remember lol). Anyway, point is, we've had this set for over four years, and it's just as gorgeous as the day it arrived. I've had no issues with chips or scratches. One of the dessert plates broke at some point because I'm a klutz, and that's just a rite of passage for any new dinnerware I guess, but otherwise these have withstood microwaving and the dishwasher with no issues. I absolutely love it! The first set that I've ever owned that I don't look at and have second thoughts! ... show more

Wow, gorgeous set of dishes
This truly is a beautiful set of dishes. Almost like pieces of art. Looks aren't the only thing I like though. I really like the weight, they are not too heavy. The mugs are good size and feel like great quality. So far I am 100% happy with these dishes.

Beautiful with minor flaws
Color: Taupe Size: Service for Four (16 pcs)
The Gibson Elite Tequesta Square Reactive Glaze Stoneware Dinnerware Set is a stunning addition to my dining table. After using it for a few weeks, here’s what I think: **1. Gorgeous Design:** The first thing that caught my eye was the beautiful reactive glaze finish. The taupe color is elegant and versatile, complementing various table settings. Each piece has a unique, slightly varied pattern due to the reactive glaze, giving the set a handcrafted, artisanal feel. The square shape also adds a modern touch that I love. **2. Sturdy and Durable:** The stoneware is solid and feels durable. The dishes have a nice weight to them, which makes them feel high-quality. They’ve held up well in both the microwave and dishwasher without any signs of chipping or fading, which is a big plus for everyday use. **3. Perfect for Everyday and Special Occasions:** This set is versatile enough for both casual meals and more formal dinners. The size of the plates and bowls is just right, accommodating generous portions without being too bulky. The mugs are also a good size, perfect for morning coffee or tea. **4. Minor Issues:** While I’m overall very pleased, there are a couple of minor issues. The plates are slightly large, which can make them tricky to fit in smaller cabinets or dishwashers. Additionally, the glaze, while beautiful, can be prone to showing utensil marks after a few uses. These marks aren’t too noticeable, but they’re something to be aware of. **Final Thoughts:** The Gibson Elite Tequesta Square Reactive Glaze Stoneware Dinnerware Set is a lovely and functional set that has enhanced my dining experience. The design is stunning, and the pieces are well-made, though there are a few minor drawbacks. Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone looking for a stylish and durable dinnerware set. ... show more

Nice dishes
Like the dishes, they are nice sized and I like the design. Looks exactly the same is in the pictures. They do get a little hot when microwaved that could be a problem in the future. But the cups are large, the bowls and plates are nice size.
