I needed something for my grandchildren to sleep comfortably since none of them were up for a futon or cots. I read about all the bunkbeds that you had available on Amazon, checked consumer reports and settled on these. Very happy with how sturdy they are and the appearance. I was afraid that it would take me all day since I’m 73 years old to assemble. I am a female and do not assemble furniture. It took me three hours and very easy to understand the instructions which I had to scratch my head and ask, why did the others have such issues as stated in their reviews? The only thing that bothers me is, they gave me these little paper stickers to cover where the screws show on the outside of the bed. I got creative and mixed some paint covered over the screws so they don’t glare obviously. I think my grandchildren are gonna be thrilled. At least I hope so! I never had a bunkbed growing up and always thought it would be fun. I highly recommend this product. ... show more

This bed is perfect for my kids! It took about 4 hours to build, which was expected. I will say the instructions could definitely be more helpful, but overall we're easy enough to follow. It is exactly as pictured. Very sturdy and my 3 year old can climb up the ladder with ease.     • Do not get unless you want a headache.
I am normally great at assembling items. So much so I go and help friends with theirs. I am currently 4 hours in and I have just had to disassemble the the bunks frame twice. The instructions do not state what is the front of the bed and the back but there are a ton of pieces dependent on those instructions. You don't notice until another peice doesn't work out then you have to take it all apart again. On top of that the wood is extremely soft and marks with every bump and scratch. ... show more

The wood paint was too thin could see wood rings threw paint it was easy to assemble but had a few wood cracks and up to now no real problems besides the paint you can’t remove stains off it dirt shows and not easy to clean plus needs to be retighten ( ladder) because of constant use
