I put it together by myself ( woman age 79), but it would have been much easier with clearer directions. Screwing in bolts was tricky because of the need to reach many tight places ; lots of flipping the cabinet upside down and side to side to reach the holes for the bolts. With clearer directions, I wouldn’t have needed to redo a couple of things. Once completed,, it’s pretty nice. One side of the lid doesn’t quite sit flat to the front corner, but it might go down once it sits in the heat with a small weight on the corner. ... show more

Assembly takes a couple of hours trying to align the bolts to fit. Takes some muscle. I had one last bolt that will not align with the nut no matter what, but that is Chinese Standard I guess.. All in all an ok box.

It did seem a little beat up on the corners already so I think the one I received had already been returned at least once - probably due to the very misleading pictures of the gray one. I guess I should have looked up rattan before I bought this product. It is a soft material. You cannot sit on this box - it would sag l . If you stood on it you might go through. So it looks great but not too hardy. It depends how you plan to use it. If it will get rough treatment you will be disappointed. ... show more
