I am very pleased with this chair, so pleased that I ordered a second one. A literal “snap” to assemble…it is attractive, sturdy, perfect size for my Family Room. While it does not remain in a fully reclined position on its own, it serves my purpose: to sit in a relaxed position with a footrest. True, it’s somewhat firm - but we’ve been able to sit and view media for about 3 hrs comfortably. It’s a little stiff to force open, but it’s loosening up with use. I also, like others, swapped the legs out for shorter, squared legs…increasing the stability, and making the chairs more comfortable for my petite height. If true gray is important to you, be aware that it can appear more of a “greige.” Also, don’t make my mistake! When ordering the second chair, I initially ordered from a different seller at a lower price: it was not the same chair! It was not a match; seams were different, legs were plastic; materials were of lesser quality. I went back and ordered from the original seller, even though the price had gone up slightly. I only wish I had ordered the 2-chair set from the beginning. I didn’t know I would like the chair this much.

Great accent chair for the price!! I mainly bought it just to have a extra seat in the living area and fir that it's perfect. Has a nice classy look to it and is comfortable for short rests. I'm a bug guy so I can't really sit in it and relax but my short mother in law loves it! Overall pleased with my purchase!

Easy to assemble, but not the best quality. Didn’t expect it to be stellar but I expected more. I’m going to purchase different legs for them as the ones I received have crooked screws so they are angled which means I don’t want to sit in fear of it breaking under me. If that doesn’t work and I still have time, we will return them. I do like that they are shorter recliners as they fit me, but aren’t so comfortable they swallow me to sleep in.

We bought two chairs to use at either end of the dining room table. Assembly was easy enough, but as soon as the chair was pulled forward slightly, the leg buckled, and when we turned it over to look, saw that the wood had cracked through the side of the chair where the leg was screwed in. We thought casters would make the chair usable, but the wood continued to crack, even when a young child was sitting on the chair. The final solution was to add 2x4s underneath on each side to enhance the structure of the base of the chair, and screw heavy duty casters into those pieces. These held, and we didn't hear any further cracking inside the chair! All was well for a few days until using the footrest- when trying to get comfortable and putting a heel on the footrest, the piece of wood in last panel cracked in half. These chairs are pretty, but best suited for someone who won't need to move them in any way, and doesn't move much themselves while sitting in the chairs.

This was the most beautiful and easy to assemble chair!!! And comfortable! I recently moved and needed a place to sit after a failed sofa attempt from Amazon- so I was hesitant- but I am sooo glad I pulled the trigger on this! It took more effort to get into the cardboard box than to put it together seriously- 5steps and 4 of those are screwing in the feet of the chair! It’s a little unsteady on my cement flooring but I set it on a carpet and it was just fine- I highly Recommend

I ordered this two-pack of recliners to replace a broken couch. LOVE the Mid-Century Modern aesthetic, and these chairs do not disappoint in the looks department! However. I did find that the included legs are very wobbly, almost spindly. I ordered replacement legs that were thicker and shorter, and the chairs seem much more solid. Super easy to replace ... but the lower height means that I can't use the chairs as recliners. But, since I wasn't planning on using them as recliners anyway, so that's no problem. (My living room is sorta small, and didn't want to have to pull the chairs forward every time I wanted to relax). So I've knocked one star off of the rating for having to replace the wobbly legs.

easy to assemble, it took 10 min. compared to a dresser I bought that took 2 days, this was super easy, can in 2 peices and fit together, you just have to put the feet on. Fast setup. Make sure once you put the back of the chair on you push down on it to get it in place, took me 10 min to realize I didnt push down and snap it into place. But now it is great.
