I love the whitewashed wood look, it is very coastal to me, so I have been buying items to redo our home. This buffet I had my eyes on for a long time and pulled the trigger on Prime day. We bought another buffet earlier in the year that was so hard to put together that we just returned it. This one was pretty difficult as well, just pictures, no instructions, but we did it, and it took my husband and I probably close to 3 hours to do this together. The majority of the pieces are super sturdy, but some are pretty flimsy. I would recommend the company pack these with more insulation. There was one minor chip on a piece that of course faces the front, but you really can't see it unless you are paying attention big time. We had several screws, etc., left over, not sure why... It is very solid and a really nice piece to add to our growing collection!!! No pictures as it looks just as it is advertised! ... show more

It took 3 hours to assemble on my own. I took each peice and placed them spread out separately and placed all hardware just to the side also in order so i could grab a part without digging. This made assembly exponentially easier and if anything was missing i could solve the problem now with a visit to a home improvement store for a missing screw or something. Lucky I had everything on hand. If you don't already have one get an electric screwdriver or drill..this will make your life SO much easier. Came quickly and wasnt too difficult to assemble. The drawer base is thin though and arrived with the corner cracked/bent inward, still usable but was a bit dissapointed for that reason. Overall still a nice looking bar and great addition to the living room scene.

I read all of the mixed reviews and decided to try my luck. Fast shipping, box arrived without damage. I put this together myself in about 3-3.5 hrs. The instructions were very clear and easy to understand. I decided I liked it better without the drawer so I didn’t incorporate it. My buffet is sturdy and serves it’s purpose. This item is much darker in person than it appears in the photos, but it worked fine for my space. One piece arrived broken. I contacted the manufacturer who was very prompt and polite in their response. Sadly, the broken piece is not in stock and it is going to take 30-45 days until they can send it out. They did offer a $40 refund in case I didn't want to wait so long, but I didn't think I could find a suitable part to replace it. I am lucky it was not a structural piece, so I assembled it and am using it as is. Assembly took about 3 hours between my husband and I (mostly me) putting it together. There are no written instructions, just diagrams showing which pieces and hardware you need to use in that step. It did confuse me a few times and I had to undo and redo a few steps. I definitely needed his help for a few steps. All in all, this buffet looks very nice for the price and will look even nicer when the broken part is here and screwed on. I was concerned about how sturdy it would be as I was assembling it, but once it was all together it is in fact quite sturdy. I will update this review when the broken part has arrived and is replaced and add photos of the finished product. ... show more
