Our daughter wanted a small couch for her bedroom and this seemed like a good quality one vs some of the cheaper ones. We like the different back rest positions. It's definitely not as comfortable as a real couch or mattress but for kids it's fine. Would buy it again.

I attached a picture of how it fits under a twin-sized loft bed. I would say that it can fit two people. My dad and I sat next to each other on it, unfolded, while watching a movie. We still had space between us and the back was able to support both of our weight with nothing behind it. In terms of comfort, it's pretty comfortable for what it is. Some might say that it's too firm, but I don't mind the firmness. Maybe after a while, while sitting on it folded, you might start feeling your butt getting numb (lol). Though unfolded completely, I feel it's more comfortable. But then again, on the first night I received this, I unintentionally fell asleep on this sofa. It was folded - same position and everything as the picture. I was lying down sideways on it; I am 5"7. So, I would say that says some things about the comfortability of this sofa. Right out of the package, it's completely folded up like how you would store it. I had trouble figuring out how to unfold it so I hope this is helpful as there are no instructions. In order to change the position for the back, you would have to unlock it first. There is no latch, so to do this you have to push it down (as hard as you can) and you will hear a click. You should be able to lift it up now. For the top most part, there is no special contraption. You can just use force to bend it. All in all, I'm happy with this sofa. I purchased this floor couch after a lot of research comparing like products. This met the dimensions, color, and what I thought would work well in my home office without spending $1k+ to meet my needs. This sofa did fit the area where I measured this to fill and the color is fine (gray). It also looks cute set up. But realistically the “sofa” is so small. My 8-yr-old daughter and I can’t sit on it at the same time. The padding is thin and uncomfortable if sitting for more than 30 mins. I’ve tried piling pillows around and on the back area to make that more plush and comfortable - nothing works. It just feels hard and awkward. All in all I was excited about this piece but it’s just awful. I don’t recommend it except for maybe children’s areas. I’m planning to give this to my brother for my nieces to use in their playroom. Definitely not recommended for adult use. ... show more

Bought this for grand child who comes to stay infrequently. She loves it but the storage of it is not easy as it doesn't stay folded together well and its large so it's an eyesore if just left in the room still upwards. The center of it doesn't have a lot of depth but for a small child its ok. The seating of it is good when set as a chair for the gaming they need it for. Bonus is the bottom has kind of a plasticky surface so when she spilled her water it was easy to clean ... show more

I bought this as a versatile solution for my teenagers' "man cave" with TV, video games and friend space. It is perfect for that purpose allowing us to place it on the floor in front of the couch so some can sit on couch while others sit on this unit. First, the unit was a bit smaller than I anticipated. I will chalk that up to not reading close enough but be sure to pay attention to measurements. It fits 2 people, but relatively close together. I LOVE the way it folds and lays down into a bed for kids' friends that stay the night to have a comfortable place to lie down. I am little worried about the mechanism that clicks to hold the back upright. It seems like there is a lot of stress on that but I haven't had a problem in the first month and a half of use. We aren't fans of cluttering our home with furniture, and love the benefits of spending more time sitting on the floor for posture and joint health. And, sometimes it's nice to be able to lean back and watch some YouTube together. It's comfy to sit on, super easy to move out of the way if we want to use the space for something else, and versatile in terms of being either a couch or a surface to sit/lay on. Like some have mentioned, if it's completely unfolded, the cushioning gets pretty thin, and I personally wouldn't attempt to sleep on it at my age (30s). Still, I'm not sure how people are managing to feel the metal in it. Our cat is also obsessed with sleeping on it 😂 ... show more
