I've test slept and sat in this chair for a while now and, while it's too narrow for it to be a full-time bed and not as soft as some people would like, it's a great for those nights where for whatever reason, the bedroom isn't sleepable. Presumably it would work for overnight guests as well.

Just arrived about 30 mins ago, started putting together and instantly the holes don’t line up with the handles causing stripping in the bolts. It’s very firm not comfortable at all definitely want to get some padding . It feels very cheaply made/designed. Fortunately bought for my young son (13yrs) but won’t last long . This is a cute little chair. It's easy to assemble, even though instructions were a bit lacking. The cover/material is very nice & has a zipper for easy removal. The color is a very nice shade of brown. Unfortunately, it's hard as a rock. I wanted a small chair in a dressing room, so I wasn't looking for a big soft comfy chair. Although the lack of softness isn't a big issue for me, I'm still disappointed that it can't use it for anything other than putting on socks & pants. If you intend to use this as a full or even part time sitting chair forget it. I also though it would be nice to have an extra little sleeper. Well, that's not gonna happen unless I put a piece of foam or something on it or replace the entire inside mattress with something else. It is working out so well that we ordered two more and are giving away the present couch and love seat. The company is great for customer service because one of the two additional items was missing a leg. In spite of it being a holiday weekend, they dispatched a leg immediately and we had it in a couple of days. We are planning on using these chairs when the grandkids come to visit. They are a little firmer than I expected and lower to the floor, but they look great in the room.
