We were looking for a bed for an adult child who got their first apartment. We needed to make sure that we got a sturdy frame because we read so many reviews about frames collapsing. We have an 8 lb cat who sleeps under the bed and who would likely not survive if the frame collapsed on her. Since I have a couple of other small furniture items made of rubber wood, I knew that it is a strong hardwood. So, I ordered this rubber wood queen frame to go with the new mattress. My husband brought his power tools to put it together and finished in about 30 minutes. The frame seems very sturdy. No noticeable defect. Although sturdiness was our main concern, I was pleasantly surprised to see how nice it looked after it was put together. It matches a modern-style, natural finished solid maple armoire almost exactly. Very pleased with the look. Of note is that if someone has a different finish in their bedroom furniture, they could probably finish the legs to match prior to putting the bed together. Old Master's gel stain can go on top of other finishes after a light sanding and then be easily top coated with Minwax spray-on polyurethane. Hope they keep making and selling this bed frame at a decent price, because I am sure others have concerns about having a sturdy bed that would not injure their pet. I would recommend this bed frame to others.

I’ve really liked everything about the bed. It seems to be good quality, arrived fast, easy assembly. I’ve been using it now for about six months. Still seems very sturdy. The mattress does shift. The sticky pads on the slats may do better holding a slimmer mattress or one person. I have a pretty thick mattress for two people so just something to consider. Maybe modify it or add more sticky’s to ensure less movement. I communicated with customer service regarding this and they’ve been super helpful, quick response times and very kind.

I'm a bit large, but this bed doesn't get wobbly after a month of use. Easy to tighten up bolts and doesn't creak. Very solid wood. I actually really love this bed!

The first two bed frames I ordered got lost in shipping. I should've taken this as an omen, and done some sleuthing, but I didn't, and settled on ordering this lovely full size bed frame. It arrived yesterday, and I very excitedly dragged it up to my apartment to assemble. There were no instructions, and I did sit for a good ten minutes trying to figure out how to assemble it, but as soon as I figured out which screws went where, it was an easy assembly that took me another ten to fifteen minutes. It was beautiful, sturdy, and overall I was pleased enough to put my new full sized mattress on it. When I did, however, there was multiple inches of mattress hanging off of each side. I was entirely confused as to why it was so grossly different. What kind of manufacturer sends out a product that is completely mis-measured? And then I thought, oh no. I measured my mattress, and lo and behold... the company I bought my mattress from sent me a queen instead of the full that I paid for. Since its (hopefully) much easier to return a bed frame than a mattress, I'll be taking it apart and continuing my sad search for a bed frame...

I was so excited to check out the bed so I pit it together before my king matress arrived. It's so pretty and well constructed. The last bed I had off Amazon didn't hold up a year. I was a bit hesitant but upon seeing the quality and build, my anxieties were put to rest.. The bed has the perfect amount of clearance underneath for cleaning and discrete storage if you like to use totes. It is so easy to assemble and comes with minimum parts, unlike some cheaper beds out there. (My last bed probably had 20 parts, not including screws. Less parts = less things coming loose. I also was amazed by the amount t of supporting beams in the center of the bed. The wood is high quality and I love the natural warm tones of the polished rubber wood. It even has "no skid" matress tape on the slats to keep your matress from sliding 😏. Cons: As some mentioned, there is a bit of floor gap with the supporting posts , so I would use a rug underneath or buy something to stick underneath the bed that keeps ot from sliding. This is a minor flaw, and I won't take away a star from my review because the overall quality is exceptional for the price. Also, the slats of thr bed that hold thr matress ARE on the cheaper end as mentioned, as I noticed thry created a layer of "wood dust" as I assembled them. This should reduce over time. I can always pick up cheap slays at my local thriftshop, but I don't see it bothering me. If anyone cares to know, it's made in Malaysia. I am a bit cautious about minimal amounts of formaldehyde gassing off (it does meet "safety" standards for the environment, but it's not certified formaldehyde free by greengaurd, etc, so I would expect it not to be a "clean , nontoxic" item. This is also not a huge concern, as I feel like the gassing is minimum since there is no plush fabric headboard etc... Overall, you are getting an incredible product for an amazing deal, so I wouldn't sweat the small stuff.
