Bought this case for flights since we travel for work. Went to get something out of the overhead bin mid flight and the Xbox fell straight to the floor. I said if it still works I’m writing a review. Well. It works fine! So I now highly recommend this case for protection during travel. The item does not close properly - top clips protrude and dig into console surface. It appears that long term use would damage console edges. Tried as pictured and other directions, same result. The console also gets stuck in the case - very difficult to remove. Do not recommend!

This case served its purpose for me. I took my Xbox on vacation. I'm the one who packed it. I'm the one who put it in the vehicle. I'm the one who unloaded it. It protected my Xbox but I'm the one who protected the case. This case wouldn't be for airplane travel or any travel that you lose sight of your console. This case protects from dust and your own luggage in your own vehicle from rubbing against it. This is exactly what I needed though. One downside is that it wouldn't, couldn't, doesn't and won't allow you to pack your gaming headset. That would have been convenient but I made price conssesions considering I just needed to protect my Xbox from bathing suits and pillows. Definitely not a plane or bus travel case. ... show more
