  • Excellent TPU Filament for Flexible 3D Printing
Color: Tpu-clear
This is the first time I've ever used TPU and I was a bit concerned that I was going to have issues with it, but it wasn't as worrisome as I thought and I'm fairly certain this filament is part of the reason why. For reference I'm printing on a Qidi imate-S with a .6 mm nozzle on a 60 degree heated glass bed with an enclosure, top off but sides closed up. I started out with a phone case trying the settings used in the listing, and while it printed "okay" it wasn't fabulous. So I tried another one with settings that I found in a Qidi user group. Again, "okay" but not great. So I scrapped the settings and set them to the default TPU setting in the slicer and tried a simpler print - a snowflake ornament. It came out PERFECT. So nice; no stringing no warping. Just beautiful. So I thought, back to the a phone case. The third attempt was way better than the first two. Still not without some flaws, but usable for sure. Bridging the button holes with supports was a bit rough, the sides turned out good, the bottom speaker and cable holes weren't as nice, but they pass muster. Still have some dialing in to do obviously, but considering I went from meh to really good in a day with a tricky filament the first time using it, I give this filament an A+. The adhesion was really good on the smaller print, and while the phone case didn't come up it did seem to have some marring on the first layer that suggest that it didn't fully stick in all places. So you may need additional adhesive or play with your bed temps when using this. I've heard that TPU is very hygroscopic we've had it out for over 27 hours on the printer and noticed only very slight stringing by the end of that time. Our house is really dry though and not humid, so I imagine that others may see the moisture absorption sooner than that. I highly recommend GIANTARM TPU filament for anyone looking to explore the versatile world of flexible 3D printing. It's definitely a great TPU for beginners to start with as it didn't frustrate too much to try and get the settings dialed in and we did get usable prints within the first day of working with it. ... show more

  • Looks a little rough but is functional
Color: 0.5kg Black Tpu
This was my first time printing with TPU, and it wasn't too bad. It'll take some tweaking, but it prints well enough to work. No issues loading or unloading it with my Bambu Labs A1 from the external filament holder (don't try it with the AMS)

  • This filament works great.
Color: Tpu-black
I had never used TPU before and had at least 4 failures before I figured it out. This filament is prone to heat creep. If you have a 3D printer that is enclosed, then make sure you leave the door open. There needs to be air flow to keep the temperature from getting too high in the chamber. The heat from the nozzle will work its way up the filament and cause the extruder to clog. If you have chamber fans, then turn those on also. The only issue that I have with TPU is how stringy it is. There is a bit of clean up with all of the strands of filament everywhere. ... show more

  • I like this TPU, and it looks great!
Color: Tpu-clear
I do a lot of printing with different filaments, mostly utility prints and combat robot parts, so I am always looking for budget friendly options that can hang with the "big dogs". Rather than just posting more pics of my robots, I printed several non-robot test prints to see how well this stuff compares with other brands of TPU. I used the "Generic TPU" profile in Creality slicer on one of my stock K1 printers, and used the stock layers, walls settings, but I did change infill percentage and type... for a squishier texture, I set the infil to 10% and used gyroid pattern... gyroid looks really good through the sides with the transparent color. I love that it prints perfectly with the stock profile, it will work well for beginners. The filament was even easy to load through the reverse-bowden setup of the K1... just need to remember to get a good diagonal cut on the end so it will slide through the run-out sensor... but you need to do that for any filament, any time you change the roll. I tried pulling the tread print apart both against and with the layer lines... it fuses really well with itself and retains it's shape well. I had no issues with clogging, i printed the braille chicklets in a random orange PLA after the other prints. (it's 3D Printy's model) Compared to other brands like Ninja and Duramic, this TPU holds it's own. I really love the ease of printing. 10/10. I would recommend this even for a beginner with a printer like the K1. ... show more

  • Works Great
Color: Tpu-clear
I have never 3d printed anything before, and i was able to get a good quality print with some minor tweaks along the way. I found that printing at 210 degrees celsius got rid of most (if not all) of the stringing, and i was able to print at 100mm/sec without any trouble. I used it for a fairly large, simple thing (a frisbee), so i don’t know how well those settings will work for something more detailed. ... show more

  • Printed great! Color is more a metallic gray, but nice!
Color: Petg-silver
Printed great! Color is more a metallic gray, but nice! Printing miniature slot car chassis and other small parts that have to hold up to impacts. So far in my tests, PETG is quite sturdy with just the right amount of flex. I always dry the filament before printing, using an inexpensive food dehydrator for a couple of hours. And when printing PETG G, I keep the my printer closed into a makeshift print cabinet to keep the ambient temperature warm. It virtually eiminates stringing. Overall very pleased with this filament. ... show more
