Number one, the customer service at Ghostbed is excellent. There was a timing issue involved and the folks at Ghostbed resolved it fairly, definitively and amazingly quickly. Very happy there. Now, the Flex: After sleeping on the Flex for about 3 weeks, I have to give it a 5. It’s not a 4. The Flex is an honest, well made bed. A solid, firm, comfortable bed as advertised. When you first get on (I waited about 10 hours), the bed is quite firm, but comfortable. After a few days it softens up a bit, But not too much. I say not too much for a reason. I had the time to test out a couple of other more expensive hybrids. One was like sleeping on a cloud--very comfortable to test. The other was like sleeping on a trampoline--forget it. The first night I slept on the Flex, when I first laid down, it felt firm. I have chronic lower back and shoulder pain. Old injuries, annoying. After a short while I realized my back muscles were unknotting and relaxing, because, unlike a super soft bed, the Flex technology gave them the support required to relax. It feels great once you get used to it, which happens quickly. The kicker is that when I woke up in the morning and got out of bed I suddenly realized my back didn’t hurt for the fist time since whenever! Wow! I'm not kidding. And it continues improving my spinal situation. If you a have a back problem, even if it's muscular, or scoliosis, you need a firm bed. Sleeping on a cloud is nice, but won’t really help. (Cloud is not in the product’s name, btw.) It’ll feel luxurious at first, but will sink over time. Without tensile support, the sag would probably make your back worse over time, not better. You need enough support. Also, it’s quite cool, temperature-wise. And my wife loves the way it looks. This is a great bed for anyone that wants to promote spinal health in a solid no BS high functioning hybrid bed and get a good night's sleep. This is not a cloud. it’s a really good, supportive bed.

We have been talking about buying a new bed for over a year. I’ve started really researching for the last few months as we decided we would buy ourselves a mattress for Christmas (yes we are at that age & have been married for many years :) ) I had it narrowed down to a few different mattresses, but really felt like this was the mattress I wanted. We wanted something with memory foam, but figured we should get a hybrid because we are heavy and needed support. Also wanted something that wouldn’t wake up the other person when getting up to go to the bathroom. Let me tell you, this bed has been perfect for us!! There’s enough support that you don’t sink to the ground, but enough foam on the top you are surrounded in softness. We’ve been sleeping on it for a month and no more aching when you wake up in the morning and no waking up when someone goes to the bathroom or comes to bed later than the other person. Also didn’t think I’d like the cooling effect, but absolutely love it! We literally opened the box & slept on it after 4 hours. We did notice that it was much more squishy then, but now it’s perfect. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a hybrid mattress that likes the softness of memory foam, but still needs support!!

After reading so many product reviews I was sold on this bed. I carefully selected it based on the descriptions. However; upon sleeping on it I am disappointed. Firstly, the material looked like a very cheap material. The quilted top was far from a luxury feel. It did feel cool to touch but not through the sheets. I was so disappointed in this bed. I was sinking in the bed despite being within the weight limit. The bed SAGS when two people lay on it at one time. I feel every turn of my spouse on the bed. I would return if possible! Do NOT PURCHASE. DOES NOT LIVE UP TO EXCECTATIONS.

I've only slept on this mattress for about 8 nights and so far this is my review. The bed frame: The "world's strongest bed frame" as they call it, might be strong, but it is the noisiest bed frame I've had. Every little movement in the bed from rolling over to just moving your leg causes creaking and popping from the frame (and yes it's assembled correctly. It's impossible to assemble wrong.). The mattress: is way, way less firm than the description and every other review I watched before buying. I usually sit in bed at night and watch TV, but you can't sit on this mattress. Your butt sinks so low into the mattress that it's uncomfortable. The springs are almost visible from the side of the mattress, and you can touch them through the mattress cover. I can physically grab the coils through the mattress cover between my thumb and finger and easily collapse the spring with my two fingers. (See photos). The foot any head ends of the mattress look like they never really expanded all the way after unpacking (see photos). We let the mattress sit for over 8 hours after unpacking. As far as sleeping... The jury is still out. It seems to be comfortable, but from what I've seen I'm worried it won't be long before it's sagging and lumpy. I actually so unsure of it that I still have my old beautyrest standing against the wall in my room. I'll update later on when I learn more. So far I'm not impressed Ghostbed.....

I melt into this bed. It is literally like sleeping on a cloud. It allows me to sleep on my side pain free. The way it holds me has allowed me to sleep on my back for the first time in years. I did a lot of research and compared a lot of mattresses. I always lean towards a firm mattress because I have back pain and I need support. I ended up buying this mattress 40% based on the specs and 60% based on the reviews. They were right. This is literally the best mattress I didn’t know I needed.

It's really a gamble buying beds online. If I had to, I would have used the return policy to my advantage, but fortunately, because this is such a comfortable bed, I'm going to keep this thing forever. It's exactly as advertised, actually may be better.
