The results are better than I expected! My kinky hair is almost completely straight; much better than the results I got with my old straightening comb because I can get the brush on my roots! No burned scalp, fingers or ears! There are less expensive brushes out there but I believe you get what you pay for. This is a very well-made product. Will this replace the salon? It took me a couple of tries to really master this but I much prefer it to a flat iron. It is pricey but I really like it. It has "bristles" that heat (and some that don't) so that you don't have to press your hair flat to apply heat and shaping. My hair comes out smooth but not flat. It has movement and body. And it's faster because you don't have to segment your hair into such tiny sections. I can restore my look very quickly. ... show more

I like it so much, easy to Use and it saved my time. It's useful and practical. I only gave it 4 stars because it is not easy to do the roots with it (it stay wavey a littile bit). Also it doesnt have different set forthe heat.

I’m really impressed with this hair straightener. I have very long curly hair. I used to get my hair chemically straightened and honestly this does a better job! It was easy to get the hang of using it, I’m used to plain flat irons. Not once did it feel too hot or burn any part of my head! I love that it gives body to the hair. It falls so beautifully. I have been using this hot brush for several months. I have very long, thick, frizzy/wavy hair and also have a GHD flat iron. I have been disappointed with this item. The design is poor: the handle is heavy and hard to grip, and the on/off button is right where you need to put your fingers to maintain grip. This annoys me every time I use it. It noticeably tames hair, though, but it takes longer than a flat iron and does not do as good of a job. You must brush each section of hair with a regular brush before you run the hot brush through it; otherwise, your hair will get caught and overheat. ... show more

I have super thick hair. I've tried the Drybar straightening brush. I loved how light it was and the bristles are really easy to clean. However, it took a long time to straighten because I had so much hair and the coverage area isn't much. Tried the T3 brush, it was heavy. To the point where I had to put it down a couple of times because my arm hurt. I suspect it's because of the metal plates on the side of the brush. All I can say is WOW! This brush is the bomb when it comes to smoothing your hair. You can straighten your do or you can add smooth volume by going under the hair as opposed to going over it. I was at my ropes end with my frizzy hair. Keratin treatments are expensive, have a questionable safety profile, and don't last (at least for me). A few swipes through my hair and it is smooth as glass; I kid you not. Ladies if you are looking for a straightening brush this is THE ONE!
