I have fine hair and was amazed at the volume this brush produces! I wasn’t sure it would work for my length of hair, but the knobby bristles hold the hair on the brush. It cuts down drying time and it’s very efficient and effective by having the brush and dryer all in one. The tool is slightly heavy, but it’s not a concern since drying time is reduced. This brush is solid (heavy) and a very well made, quality product. It is not the best at drying hair - a blow dryer is faster and easier to use first. The Duet does not pull out as much hair as I expected. It is basically a one trick pony but it does straighten my wavy hair to my satisfaction. This hairdryer brush burned my hair. Don’t be fooled by its claim that the heat won’t damage your hair. I have thick, strong hair and yet, after just a few uses, the dryer damaged my hair to the point that it looks unhealthy, dull, and extremely dry. Do not waste your money!

It gets too hot (you can't change it's temperature), to the point where you can burn your hand. Each time when I try to give it a chance, it would burn my hair.
